12-16 players set out in an attempt to grab as much rating as possible in this epic game of The Mole. One however is being paid as a double agent to sabotage and misguide the other players. Do you have what it takes to figure out The Mole?

The Game

In this game, players attempt challenges together to try to add rating to the pot. At the end of each round there will be a quiz. The player that scores the lowest on the quiz will be eliminated.

The Challenges

Challenges will last no less than 48 hours. The mole will try to sabotage these as well so keep your eyes peeled. Based on how well you do, rating will be added to the pot. Also, there may be opportunities to gain exemption during the challenge as well.

Exemption

Any player who has exemption does not have to take the quiz for that week and is safe.

Task 1-Bridge Over Troubled Water

Welcome everyone to The Mole: SSBB! I'm your host, mallowgeno!

In a short few moments, you will be PMed your QTs and begin work on your first task.

Here it is:

The 16 of you have been divided into two teams of 8. You all are starting on Dragon Roost Island. Your goal is to get everyone to Windfall Island. This takes 15 minutes to do by ship. Here's the catch though, some of you are fatties and can only sail solo, while others can buddy up and sail. You only have one ship though so you'll have to be sailing back and forth. Once everyone is across, or time runs up, your challenge is over!

So, what do you do? Well, one important thing to know, the boat doesn't travel back magically by itself. Someone must bring it back over. And, only one fat person may use it to go across at a time, or only two skinny people may use it to go across. Two fat people or one skinny and one fat will not work!

The Catch:

On the sail, is an exemption card. Anytime during your trip over to an island, you may take that card. However, once you do, it will take 1 hour to get across from island to island, making the task much more difficult. The player that takes the exemption card is not subject to this time penalty during the trip in which they take the card.

The Rating:

Each player that is on Windfall Island when the task ends puts 20 rating into the Bank!

Task #2-Rude Awakening

You all wake up and discover...Ike has been kidnapped!

The Mole hired someone to kidnap Ike and now it's up to you to save him!

This task will be split up into two parts. For now, you guys just need to worry about the first part.

The remaining 14 of you must split yourselves into 3 groups. The split does not have to be even. Each group will be completing a different task and should have players in that group that specialize in that area:
-Actives:Players are online frequently and have no life
-Decoders:Players are able to decode things with ease
-Brawlers:Players know SSBB inside and out

You will have 24 hours to do this. To submit the list, one player must PM me it. The first one I receive is the one that will be used.


MEANWHILE...

Ike will receive two locations for nintendo games. He must PM me two separate drawings of them.

No words, letters, or numbers allowed in drawings!

These will be passed on to two different players who must write down what they think it is. Then they're passed on to two new players and so on (basically two chains of EPYC). For each chain that successfully stays the same, 200 rating will be added to the pot! If a player has a the chain in their possession for:
-more than 24 hours for writing
-more than 48 hours for drawing
the chain will be broken and no rating will be scored.

Congrats everyone else on surviving yet another execution. Hold on to your hats because this next round is going to be rough. Opening the mole house now.

Test 3-Wack-a-Monty-Mole

Those of you who didn't volunteer will be dressing up as monty moles. You guys will try to surface up to two times. For the first two times you surface, you put 50 rating into the pot. Each time after won't put anything into the pot, but it will help you. The three players who surface the most times will receive an exemption.

HOWEVER, Zelda, Peach, and Fox will be trying to wack the other eleven players. The player that wacks the most players gets an exemption as well. In addition each player that the SMASHERS wack will add 75 rating into a SIDE POT that only they will be able to win at the end.

How it will work:

The moles will post *surface X* (The first time you surface you would post *surface 1*). If 7 minutes go by without you getting wacked, you will score 50 rating into the pot. However if you get wacked, you not only lose any rating that you were trying to put in, but any rating that you personally had added to the pot (So if you are on your second surface and you get wacked, you lose the 50 rating you had already put into the pot.). If you get wacked, you are not allowed to surface again.

The moles have 7 minutes to post *wack X* if a player surfaces (Wolf posts *surface 1* at 7:00, Falco posts *wack Wolf* at 7:07. Wolf would be wacked and cannot surface again. Falco puts 75 rating into the side pot.)

One final thing, if the SMASHERS fail to hit anyone, they do not win any exemptions. If the SMASHERS hit all players that have surfaced at least once, they all win an exemption and none of the moles win one. A max of three exemptions will be given to the moles. This means if there is a tie for the third one, neither player will get it (Player A surfaces 4 times, Player B surfaces 3 times, Player C and D surface 2 times. Only players A and B get exemptions).

Well...erm...
















Zelda, you whacked 7 people so you added 525 rating into the side pot. Now the rating that is in that pot can only be won by either Zelda, Peach, or Fox. The player who makes it the furthest will win that rating automatically. If one of you is the mole, and one of you make it to the end, you both will split the rating.








In addition, Zelda, you whacked 7 players. Therefore, you have earned yourself an exemption from this upcoming quiz.
Mario, you are the only player who successfully surfaced, twice at that. You have earned yourself an exemption.






Out of 1100 rating that you could have put in, you only put in 100. This was a tough challenge, but I must say that it would have been to the whackers advantage to only whack maybe one or two of you to maximize the group pot.

Test #6-Prison Break

There are 8 of you left. But one of you is the mole. How will they play a part in today's test?


All of you have been shackled to a wall. About 10 yards from the wall is a box. Inside the box is a key that will unlock your shackles. However, all of you are attached to the same chain and only one of you can unlock yourselves at a time. The only way to do that is if everyone else stays against the wall. In order to allow a player to get a key, you must post "Stay on wall". After all but one do that, the last player may then post "Unlock Shackles" and unlock themselves from the shackle. Then the process starts all over again, minus the player who is unlocked.

Example:

5 players are shackled in this example (Cindy, Annie, Moe, Larri, and Bob)

Cindy posts "Stay on Wall"
Annie posts "Stay on Wall"
Larri posts "Stay on Wall"
Bob posts "Stay on Wall"
Moe then posts "Unlock Shackles" and is free

then there are 4 players still shackled and they repeat the process...
Bob posts "Stay on Wall"
Cindy posts "Stay on Wall"
Larri posts "Stay on Wall"
Annie then posts "Unlock Shackles" and is free

This process repeats until one player is left and they can just go and unlock themselves.



However, at the same time, there is an exemption in the box. If a player goes to the box and posts "Take Exemption" instead of "Unlock Shackles" not only do they unlock themselves but they also get an exemption. The exemption is attached to a string that when pulled, will permanently close the box, allowing no other players to unlock themselves. If the exemption is taken at any time, the challenge is lost.

Example:

5 players are shackled in this example (Cindy, Annie, Moe, Larri, and Bob)

(In order to get the exemption, all other players must be against the wall)

To make matters worse, Captain Falcon posted about the challenge itself. So for Diddykong posting, 300 rating will be deducted. For Captain Falcon posting and posting specifically about the challenge, 500 rating will be deducted.

That's a total of 1700 rating lost in one challenge...Was this the work of the mole? Or did the players just screw up majorly?
Mario initially cost the group 300 rating.
Kirby cost the group for not submitting the second time, 300 rating.
Diddykong cost the group for submitting in a thread when it was specified that you couldn't-300 rating.

Test #8-The Maze

Alrighty, all of you picked the player you trust the most. All of you but Pit chose Pit as most trusted. Pit chose Kirby as most trusted.

So all of you have all been stranded in similar mazes, which look like this:



Now on the right side you'll see a cute lil' green circle. That's you. And on the left, in each corner, you'll see a smokin hot blue squares. That's where you're trying to go.

However, right next to those smokin hot blue squares, you'll see some scary red X's. Those are hunters. If they tag you, you lose.


The goal is to get to one of the blue squares. Once per hour you may post in the Challenge QT I give you, a

Move

. You may move 1 square in any direction (not diagonally).

You will also be given a QT with the player that you trust. They can see where the hunters are moving and their positions. They will post in that QT to help guide you along.

Beware! The hunters will have set up one "Trap" space that has been randomly placed. If the player steps on the space, the game is over. The guide will also know that space, but cannot tell you it in any way shape or form.

If 3/5 players make it out of the maze, 1000 rating will be put into the pot. You will have 48 hours.

This test is very simple. If all of you choose a different box, 500 rating will be added to your pot AND the mole will lose 500 rating from their pot. However, should you fail, you will lose 500 rating from your pot and the mole will gain 500 rating into theirs.

CLUES

At the very beginning of the game, there was a huge clue. I do not have access to my laptop atm, but which column did Mario have his pic in? The 3rd one, the one that also had the words "the mole" in it. This was also the same case in the second pic that was placed at the top of the screen.









In the third execution, four players were eliminated. If you look at how I say they were eliminated, you would see that I used the word 'ciao' which is Italian for 'goodbye'. Who else is Italian? Why none other than our mole, Mario.












In episode four, the picross puzzle reveals a turnip, from the Mario series. This is the second game in a row that had had content from Mario games (with monty moles being the previous one).










In the same episode, if you look at the post with the results and read between 'You guys put a massive 3,000 rating into the pot! Congrats!' and 'The next quiz will be up later tonight. For now, the mole house is open!' you will see the letters 'on grisl', which when unscrambled means 'no girls'. Therefore you could deduce that the mole wasn't a girl aka Zelda.










In test number 6's post, the names Annie and Moe are placed next to each other in the example. Who's user sounds like AnnieMoe? Animopher of course!




In test number 7's result post, I said 'I strongly suggest that most of you revamp your suspicions on who the mole is.'. Most of you thought the wrong player was the mole at that time and had you taken my advice, you could have narrowed the mole down to Mario, Zelda, and Pit.






During execution number 8, if you look closely after I enter Mario's name into the computer, you will notice the words 'is the mole'. This was the biggest giveaway clue as to who the mole was.



And in the mole's journal, were you lucky enough to get it, you would have received a very good clue. Read the first letter of each sentence:
