I've mosses some f2f.

The only roles you should use are Townie, Cop, Doctor, and Mafia.

For 12/13 people, 3 scum. For 14/15 people, 4 scum.

At night, have everyone close their eyes AND put their heads down on the table. For a Cop, give thumbs up/down for scum/town.

Don't introduce multiple scum groups unless you're REALLY sure they can play well with it.

In my experience, you will get at least three day phases of policy lynches. Probably a couple of policy NKs, too.

Well, I ran a game that was about 4:14, the single PR (a cop) was killed N1, and the scum still had their asses handed to them on a silver platter.

The town was actually below average. The mafia were terrible. They didn't even

try

to get townies lynched, their only good shot was a purely lucky one, and one of them spoke out loud during the night. The last scum might have had a chance, but a Townie fakeclaimed cop with a guilty. Yes, even though the real cop had been lynched.

Another game I ran went pretty well - a few people with some idea how to play got the scum cards.

In the last game, a bunch of townies decided that they would be the mafia instead.
