Fr future reference: how should I have guessed thatt eh head of secret police was a mole, without having one of the cops come out?

i guess I should have worked it out when I had Muser shot (since he'd come up as 'evil') but I assumed that the CIA were not necessarily ont eh town's side, which seemed reasonable....

There were some irregularities in what Mackay passed on (which she later tried to explain by casting doubt on the sanity of one of the cops), also the information "Quailman is not a communist" wa not quite in line with the other statements.
What surprised me is that no-one picked up that there suddenly was a new type of killer (strangler) after Mackay came out.
