General Rules

You may talk to anyone at any time, so long as the current challenge doesn’t prohibit it.
For information on the game, read this.
I understand that drama may come with the territory, but let’s all be on good behaviour for the most part.
Bolded Purple
is my modding colour for this game.
DO NOT USE IT
or face severe penalties.
Failure to comply with the rules will result in the form of a penalty. Anything from warning to modkill may ensure.
I may add or delete rules in here at any time
and without warning.

Mission Rules

Most of the game will consist of “missions”. These are challenges that, for the most part, have been sent to me by the people of the Mafiascum community. If you don’t like the challenges, don’t blame me!
The team that wins the Reward wins
$20,000
for their team bank and is safe from the Gauntlet. Additionally, some challenge may offer a reward for completing a special task.
The Final Mission will be worth
$500,000
for the individual/team to complete it in first position, and a
$250,000
prize is awarded to the second place group.
Post-game, the placings will be worked out as such
1. Any and all modkilled players will tie for last place.
2. The first player eliminated will be placed in the first available lowest position (28th if no modkills), the second in the second available lowest position, etc.
3. The team bank will be split up accordingly. The prize for first and second will be split evenly between all of the winners of it, as well as the money inside the team bank. The player with the most money gets placed in first, the player with the second most in 2nd, etc.
4. If a tie occurs between 2 or more players in 4b) or 4c), then whoever received the least amount of votes overall in this game will be awarded the higher position.
5. If 4d) fails to produce a tie breaker, then the tied players will compete in a Final Gauntlet Challenge. The winner gets the higher placing.

Gauntlet Rules

The team that loses the Gauntlet will vote 2 players in to the Gauntlet. You may not vote for the same person to go into both Gauntlets.
The two people that got voted into the Gauntlet will select another player to enter the Gauntlet with them. They may not select each other, and they may not select the same person.
I will roll a d6. The two pairs will play the challenge accordingly. The only exception to this is the first six rounds, where we will play all of the Gauntlet Challenges one round at a time.
The first team to participate is the one with the player that received more votes. Failing that, the pair with whoever sent their vote last will go first.
YOU MAY NOT TALK TO THE FOUR COMPETITORS AFTER THE ROLL OF THE D6 UNTIL THEY HAVE COMPLETED THEIR CHALLENGE. THIS RULE IS SUPER IMPORTANT, AND WILL RESULT IN INSTANT MODKILLS.
1. The only exception to the above is the four eliminated contestant themselves. They may talk to their opponent at any time, but not the other pair.

I’m sure that you’re all familiar with the game of Yahtzee, but I’ll run through the rules anyways. First, you start off by rolling 5 dice. After the roll, you save as many dice as you want, and roll again if you have any unsaved dice. You may roll 3 times, when after that you may place a score for any one of your remaining sections.

Within the top half, the sections are One, Twos, Threes, Fours, Fives and Sixes. Scoring is number of dice with that face times the value of that face (Ex. If you score 4,4,4,3,6 and you score the fours, your score is 12, or 3*4). If you score at least 63 in this section, you get a 35 point bonus. Cool, huh?

Within the lower half, the sections are Three of A Kind (Ex. 4,4,4,5,5), Four of A Kind (Ex. 4,4,4,4,5), Full House (Ex. 4,4,4,5,5), Small Straight (Ex. 1,2,3,4,4), Large Straight (Ex. 1,2,3,4,5), Yahtzee (Ex. 4,4,4,4,4) and Chance (Anything). Full House ALWAYS scores 25 points, Small Straight ALWAYS scores 30 points, Large Straight ALWAYS scores 40 points, and Yahtzee ALWAYS scores 50 points. Three of A Kind is a total of all dice if there are at least 3 dice of one face, and Four of A Kind is the total of all dice is there are at least 4 dice of one face.

If you cannot find an empty scoring section to place a score in, then you MUST put a 0 somewhere on the card (Ex. If you score 4,4,4,3,3 and your Full House, Three of A Kind, Threes, Twos and Chance sections are all filled, you can put a 0 score anywhere that isn’t filled).

The winner is the person with the highest score, and stays in the game. The loser is eliminated immediately.

If you look around, you might notice that you’re all placed on a ledge 20 feet above the water. That’s because of our next challenge! This game is a RAF variant. You have

24 hours

to PM me one of the following actions:

Push someone off of the platform
Stand hear the edge
Grab a Blue Ball

If you push XXX off and he didn’t stand near the edge, XXX is eliminated. If he did stand near the platform, you are eliminated.

If you stand near the edge and no one tried to push you, you are eliminated. If someone pushes you, they are eliminated.

If you grab a blue ball and no one pushes you, you score a point for your team. If someone pushes you, you are eliminated.

Your team wins by 3 methods:

Having 20 or more blue balls
Eliminating everyone on the other teams
Having the highest amount of blue balls after 9 rounds.

If there is a tie, then whoever has the most balls/got to that number of balls first wins. Failing that, whichever team has more people remaining. Failing that, I will ask all remaining teams to pick a number between 1 and 100, and after that I will roll 1d100. Whichever team comes closest to the number rolled wins.

The winning team will be safe from the Gauntlet. The other team must select 2 participants to take part in the Gauntlet.

For this game, you have

24 hours

per round to submit a number between 1 and 10. You may only submit each number once. All players that have submitted the highest number will be eliminated.

If two players are left standing at one point, then the totals of the numbers they chose will be added up, and the player the has the higher total wins. So if a player said 5 for round 1, 4 for round 2, 3 for round 3, his/her total would be 12. If someone else picked 4 for round 1, 5 for round 2 and 1 for round 3, his/her total would be 10, the first player would win.

In the event of a tie that forces all players to be eliminated, I will ask all players to submit a number from 1 to 100. Whoever is closest to the number I roll on a 1d100 wins the game.

The last team with players standing wins. Additionally, the player that wins first place is safe from the next gauntlet his or her team enters. The other team must select 2 participants to take part in the Gauntlet.

Battle Bots

Each player must make 3 bots. Each bot must have 100 points total and must have at least 1 point in each category:

Health
Attack (must be an even number)
Speed

The bot with the highest speed attacks first (or a random bot if both in case of a tie here). All attacks are calculated as attack points /2. That score will then be subtracted from the opponents health. Each person's bot will play all of the opponent's bots. Whoever wins 5 matches first wins and stays in the game.

Today's challenge is... Wavelength!

Each of you is going to be randomly paired up with someone from another team, and then everyone is going to be asked 10 questions. Refraining from answering the question is an option.

For every question each pair answers in unison, both members of that pair gain 3 points.
For every question each pair answers in discord (Player A says 'true', Player B says 'false'), No points are gained by either member of that pair.

Now, for the fun part. You may choose to betray your partner in order to get ahead, so to speak. How? By refraining from answering the question.

Say, Player A and B are in a pair. Player A answers 'true', but Player B says nothing. Player B gains 4 points, while player A loses 1 point.

However, with betrayal comes risk. If both players in a pair refrain from answering the question, All of the points accumulated by the pair up until that point are lost. Simple, no?

Battle Bots

Each player must make 3 bots. Each bot must have 100 points total and must have at least 1 point in each category:

Health
Attack (must be an even number)
Speed

The bot with the highest speed attacks first (or a random bot if both in case of a tie here). All attacks are calculated as attack points /2. That score will then be subtracted from the opponents health. Each person's bot will play all of the opponent's bots. Whoever wins 5 matches first wins and stays in the game.

In this challenge, you’ve been placed on an island far, far away from the mainland! The only way you have of getting back? That helicopter on that helicopter pad. However, these aren’t just any Islands, they’re magic sinking Islands! Get to the helicopter pads before the Island sinks with you on it!

You have 600 points to spend between the 7 islands. You have 24 hours to submit to me how you are spending your points. After that is done, I will announce the results.

If you spent the least on an island, you are eliminated. If you tied for lowest spending on the island, you are eliminated. The last person left for each team will win points for their team
!
Example: A, B, C and D are playing. They have 150 points to spend between 3 islands. A spends it evenly, 50-70-30, B spends 40-50-60, C spends 30-40-70 and D spends 60-60-40.

On Island #1, C spends the lowest (30) and is eliminated.
On Island #2, of A, B and D,B spends to lowest (50) and is eliminated.
On Island #3, between A & D, A spends the lowest (30) and is eliminated. D gets to the helicopter pad and wins.
