AjaxUD. I haven't logged on in probably 3 years, but I've been seriously considering getting back into MtG with one of my good friends.- Glork

Meh. It only keeps its own deathtouch as long as the other guy stays alive, too. Unless the format is removal-starved, most Soulbond guys wind up being overpriced vanilla dorks.- Glork

Also, since I'm going to be playing paper magic starting with the RTR Pre-Release, I went ahead and dug up what I could find of my collection of cards, and looked/tallied up everything I knew to be over $5 apiece... turns out I'm sitting on over $1500 in just valuable rares in my binder, nevermind the bulk cards, and the $2-4 cards & promos that I didn't bother adding up.- Glork

Azorius is p good in limited. I imagine it's probably insane in draft, where you can make your curve work. The only thing that really sucks is winding up in an Azorius mirror match. Fuck that shit.
In RGD (Ravnica/Guildpact/Dissension), you had to prioritize mana fixing really high in draft. While gates aren'tnearlyas good as bouncelands were, and keyrunes are probably inferior to signets, I would imagine that the same holds fairly true in RTR draft.- Glork

Reck/Pie, remind me to look through my piles of boxes of cards or these. I'm p sure I have like 20-50% of most of these deck lists already.- Glork

Okay, Reck/Pie. I took a look through some of my cards, and here's what I've found so far... I've bolded it below.
Note that I know I have at least one more massive box of cards somewhere among my still-packed stuff that I can't find yet. It has a lot of older cards (Mirrodin block and earlier), and should be able to cover a few more of some of these decklists.Stompy wrote:For aggro, the standard right now is Stompy:

Storm suffers from the weakness to a couple cards. Echoing Decay/Echoing Truth are rough against the Empty the Warrens builds. (I want to play Storm, but I have no money for it). It's GOOD

4 Lightning Bolt (**SHOULD have a playset of these in old-card-box)
4 Ponder

I personally prefer Shadow Rift or Artful Dodge over Distortion Strike, but it's personal preference
I've got... some of Stompy/WeeFiend, and actually most of Storm, aside from the mana base. I should be able to find some Seething Songs, maybe 1-2 Cabal Rituals, and REB, Sign in Blood if I can find the rest of my collection...
I don't have much of anything from Infect, because I didn't play any paper magic between Zendikar and... well, now. I'm also missing a lot of WeeFiend for the same reason, it looks like.- Glork

Seriously though, that deck looks solid. My only idea would be to cut the two Think Twice for either 2 Dissipate or Syncopate.
wait, Why isn't it Architect of Thought?

So I’m pretty sure I want to sell off my Magic collection — haven’t played since Zendikar, and they are just raking up space in my closet at this point. I have a handful of Legacy staples (and some Vintage). I’ll post a list of notable cards and conditions in the next day or two. But I wanted to reach out to any scummers to “cut out the middle man” so to speak before I go to a marketplace or vendor.- Glork

Ok so I guess I sold a lot more of my Legacy stuff than I had remembered, but there are still some things in the collection.
I updated an old spreadsheet, so I'm not sure how much these cards are relevant these days, but here's a list of cards priced on TCGplayer.com's marketplace, with market buy/sell columns listed. I also have a TON stuff from Kamigawa, Ravnica, Time Spiral, and Lorwyn/Shadowmoor blocks that aren't listed, so if you're looking for something specific let me know and I'll see if I can dig it up. Second sheet has some valuable uncommons/commons as well.
I also haven't gone through my bulk collection to see what I might have missed -- that would mostly be stuff from Invasion block and earlier, and some of it may be in MP/HP conditon.
I also have a ton of tokens, full-art/promo basic lands, FNM/MPR promos, etc., that don't have much value but would gladly throw in with other stuff just to get rid of them.
Glork MtG Catalogue
I'd prefer to sell in bulk if possible, and willing to just unload cards fairly cheap to do so. Otherwise, I'll take what I can't sell here to my local card shops in a week or two, and just sell to online vendors after that.
EDIT: Also some of the cards I had a tough time judging conditions of, and I'd be glad to take pictures of any card you want to see/verify of course. - Glork
