Khan's last post isn't great imo. I read Mastin's scumhunting guide and personally I can see tone as a way to determine somebody as scum. Instead he chooses to attack mastin instead of the points he raised. Instead of explaining why the things mastin mentioned isn't scummy, he says that mastin sees everything he does as scummy. That made more sense in my head. Either way,

No I don't think so LLD. I think what Mastin is saying has merit. He hasn't said that Rack isn't playing scummily. Rather with the amount of people on his wagon, coupled together with the fact that a fair amount of those people are your/his scumreads, makes it far less likely that Rack is in fact scum, making him rather town playing badly.

Townread, I've got 1, LLD. Strong townread, I've got 1, drmy. Total of 4 townreads, out of 13, versus eight null or scumreads. Yeah.

. But I'm really not as good as you give me credit for. NY142 was an exceptional game for me, and I made some serious errors in that. I'm also pretty lazy when I'm not invested in a game, and this game just irritates me.

There is a difference between good and clever. Personally I think you are a fairly good player, however my comment about you being "not dumb" is not related to that at all. It refers to your actual intellectual ability, mindful that my judgement is based on cohesive sentence structure, diction, thought coherence, etc. So being a "good" player has nothing to do with being smart or dumb in the context that I meant it.

I'll be honest with you all--in this game, I feel a little bit out of my league. I'm having difficulty getting reads, but not because of apathy (that'd imply I didn't care; I do, just have difficulty locking down reads, as they waver from town to scum and back). A lot of players here are of a different caliber than I am, be it better (like GreyICE) or worse (VIs), making it harder to relate. I'm not in my element, compared to other games where I do nicely.

It almost made me want to replace out--almost. The reason I haven't is that I realized that's exactly why I wanted to keep playing in this game in the first place: because if I'm never pushed outside my comfort zone, if I'm always in my element, then I'd stagnate and never grow. Only by being in a place where I'm WEAKER than most people would I stand a chance of actually getting better. By being in a place where I feel uncomfortable, weaker, and overall kinda useless, I can try to push myself.

I'm going to try and reset everyone to null, and see what happens when I take a look at the game again.

This is a fairly long post which says.. nothing.. I don't have a provlem with it, but to all you people complaining about the number of pages, talk to this guy. (i know, I know it's a bit hypocrital)

Pine is still very likely scum. Junpei may just be it as well.

Transferring it somewhere else may or may not have any effect but at least moving it somewhere else has the possibility of a gain for town. Think about it, we've got 2 weeks till deadline and we have 8 people just chilling on Rack. It seems like people can get away with coasting on the Rack wagon because saying "herpderp he not posting, he sucks" is enough scumhunting. I get a gut-scum read on GI for some reason, but that could just be me smarting over losing MST3K really badly. (Yes TML, it was as bad as in Oversoul's game, but I was actually scum then).
