I personally don't like giving titles to people when the receiver came up with the title. Like I get discussing which ones you like, but I don't like suggesting one for yourself.

I get what you're saying, but I think that I just offered another way of looking at my potential title. If I don't like category X for a title when it's bought up and discussed, I think it's fair to tell them that I'd prefer a title based on Y, since I'd just reject the said titles based on X.

Saying "I don't want a title for X" is one thing, and I believe we all agree it's fine. But saying "I want one about Y instead" is what gets me. And in your case, you specifially suggested one for yourself.

Truly, I think the difference between A) asking for a title, B) suggesting your own title (initially) and C) slightly tweaking titles being discussed for you are three entirely different things, with C) being, really, a non-event. Just my opinion, though, and we all know how well

I agree with SKrew, actually. Traditionally (but not prehistorically) the titlee gets veto and sometimes tiebreaker power... that's it. Suggestions are for others to do.
