Well, we've only got 2 days till deadline; we can get an extra 3 days if 1/3 of the town sends pms to the mod asking for an extension, but there dosn't seem to be enough people around for that at the moment anyway. I think Spork need to claim now, or he's probably going to die.

We have to lynch someone who is not spork, and fast. Also, anyone who is pro-town, you need to PM the mod and ask for more time before deadline; the mod said that if a third of the town does that we get an extra 3 days, which we really need right now.

And why hasn't a third of the town already sent in PM's requesting an extension? That's only 7 people, and more people then that have posted since the mod told us we need to do it. Do you people WANT a no-lynch or something? Because that's where we seem to be headed, if we don't vote fast and get an extension.

Thesp, it's very simple. In order to win, the town has to win, and I have to have more points then person X. If during one night I have less points then that person, I get a one-shot investigative ability.

If you are somehow telling the truth, you'd better double-check with the mod and check to see if that would count as an "activated ability". I didn't use any ability last night, of course.

What really pisses me off is that if I get lynched for this crap, I'm probably screwed even if the town wins, because I won't get any more points.

By the way, if I'm making this whole role up, then why was the dead NPC called a "point whore"? It's pretty clear that either player has that role name or else they have it and have the same role I've claimed, or they would have counterclaimed "point whore" by now.

Thesp, all I can say is that, if you are telling the truth, you'd better clarify things with the mod, and you'd better do so now. Normaly, I wouldn't think this could be a gambit on your part on day 1 like this, but I've got to say the timing of your claim, coming right before a deadline like this, waiting until after the first deadline is past and until it looks like fletcher was about to get lynched, makes me wonder. Still, I think a misunderstaning on your part is more likely, and if so, you'd better clear it up fast, we don't hav emuch time here.

What does "activated ability" mean, exactally, in this game? I know what the term means in magic, but I'm not really sure what it even means in mafia exactally. Is your PM clear? Does it mean an ability that has been activated, or an ability that the player can choose to activate, or an ability that some game event can activate, or an ability that some game event has already activated, or something else?

My reaction to this entire scenario is: Who is lying here? Someone must be. I have doubts that two people would lie about the same thing vs one opposing them.

I'm torn on this one. I know he is not correct here, of course. With the timing, it does seem possible that he was trying to either divert the fletcher lynch or just trying to prevent the town from lynching at all today by creating confusion. However, it still seems more likely to me that this is some kind of mistake or misunderstanding on his part, especally as his role as he has given it to us seems to be somewhat unclear. I'm still waiting for him to answer my questions, and to clarify things with the mod if possible. Hopefully if this is a misunderstanding we can streighten this out before the end of the day, and if he is scum I want to force him to commit himself to this lie as completly as possible so he won't have wiggle room to back out later.

Yeah...if anyone has a better idea then lynching fletcher, I'm all ears. Like i said, i've had a bad feeling about him for a while, and the timing of Thesp's attack on me makes me really want to know if he's scum or not so I can figure out if Thesp was trying to destract attention from him, but if someone's got a better idea of who to lynch, speak now. Otherwise, we've got to hurry up and lynch him today, or it'll be a no-lynch.

Heh...oh well. I was still pretty impresed that I somehow got Fletcher, the person I had to get more points then in order to win, lynched day 1 after getting only slightly more points then him that day. I was basically a pro-town lyncher, which was just odd.
