The view from the spire of Cattedrale di San Caedwalla is one to die for. It overlooks the entirety of the small town- well, hamlet, really- of Condannati, and lends a view into the vineyards that stretch down from the hill upon which the town rests to the valley far below. The town is practically idyllic. There are a smattering of houses, a small police station, a small shop, and, of course, the cathedral itself. It's the kind of town, where everyone knows each other, greets each other as they go about their business of a morning. Each Sunday, nearly the whole population of the city take to the white limestone streets to congregate at the church.
This Sunday, however, they congregate outside it, around the red smears that mar the white of the paved road, and the corpse of the parish priest. Upon his dead face is an expression not of anger, or of shock, but merely of resignation. A precursory examination from the police confirms that he fell from the spire of the cathedral he loved. What they also turn up, however, is something far more worrying.
A slim stiletto blade protrudes from the frail man's chest, and a single red rose lies upon him.

The Rules!
- All sitewide rules apply.
- Play to your win condition.
- Don't quote your Role PM, or pretend to quote your role PM. Paraphrasing is fine, though.
- Don't use hidden or small text, cryptography, or provable randomness.
- Once you're dead, you get a single information free "Bah!" post, but after that, no posting after your death.
- Day deadlines will be two weeks long. Night deadlines will be 72 hours long. There will be countdowns.
- If players need to be replaced, deadlines might be extended at my discretion.

- If you need to point something out to me in-thread, preface it with @Modor I might miss it.
- If you need to replace out, say so in thread.
- If you want to replace in, or line up to replace in, just pm me saying "/in to replace", or something to that effect.
- If you don't post for 72 hours, you will be prodded; if you don't respond to a prod by posting in the thread within 24 hours, are prodded twice in a game day, or are prodded thrice overall, I will begin looking for a replacement, and you will be replaced out when I find one, unless you post in the thread before I find one.
- If you think there's been a mod error, then tell me. You're almost certainly right.
- Your role PM requires you to confirm that you're willing to play when the game starts. The game will start when 11 out of 13 have confirmed.
- During day phases, each player can vote to lynch themself or another player, or to no-lynch. You can change or retract your vote as often as you like, but can only have one vote out at a time. Votes will be reset at the start of each day.
- To vote, either use <vote> tags or <b> tags. If you are going to use bold tags, then please put your vote on the starts of lines, or I'll probably miss them.
- A lynch will occur if a majority of players are voting for the same person at the same time. This ends the day.
- Day will also end, but without a lynch, at the deadline, or if half or more of the players are voting for No Lynch.
- During the night phase, this thread will be locked, and players who can take actions overnight can take them by PMing me with the action they want to take. (Anti-town players who have a QuickTopic to communicate in can alternatively take night actions by posting them in bold in their QuickTopic.)
- Night phases end at the deadline, and not before.
