Firstly, I've always been open to tinkering with things bob, what I wasn't open to was your demand that I completely remove the feature until I had it exactly how you wanted.
Secondly, anis 'protest' is delt with by the new option I added that everyone seems to have missed. His sig seems perfectly reasonable to me atm. (though I'll likely have to change that so that I can see if it needs to be removed, sad days)
Thirdly, this idea was miths. I obviously chose all the specifics of implementation as I programed it but he oked the final product. As such I'm not at all likely to scrap the entire thing unless he explicitly told me to. I am open to the idea of either making it optional or only spoilering lines in excess of 4, as I already said.

The "disable colour and bbcode" in sigs doesn't appear to be working for me then. I've pressed "yes" and I can still see colours in sigs.

And I think making it optional is a pretty easy fix, chamber, as is spoilering lines in excess of 4. I might even prefer in excess of 4. That way it's kind of like one of those blog posts where you see the lede and can click for more if you want.

The problem seems to be that the admins' understanding of "reasonable sig" is different from the userbase's unterstanding.

I guess I'd prefer opt-out (or the Show/Hide) because then people will make their signatures to fit that standard, but I don't care that much.

I would make it opt out not opt in. I would also tie it to the same option that does the no color/bold. So it would be both or neither.

They don't annoy me at all. I speak some Spanish and Italian. I don't even mind that you speak it with other people here who speak it. It's just that I'm not sure what you really hope anyone to get out of your signature when the number of people who can read it here can probably be counted on one hand. So if it's really long, it's kind of just taking up space to take up space.

I am very confused. Were colors just removed from all sigs? If so, why is the option to disable color in sigs still there?
