What mods are on the modded server? I met one of Maru's friends on it. I forgot his name by now. But he didnt know either. Also, apparently the modded server is barely populated. That, or I cant find anyone's house and neither can he. I saw zero signs of anyone being on that server at any point near where my house is now(plains/extra large hills/mountains biome) to the spawn point.

Most of us went a ways from spawn, and are building in isolation rather than a town-like thing.

Do some shameless self advertising and find me more players that are trustworthy and I can Whitelist them for you guys to build a townish type setup near spawn.

Overall there are like 10 or 15 of us that actively play it. Maybe 20.

Control of the OP should be switched, yeah. And if someone can post the new IP of the modded server, then. I definitely used the one on the OP and just assumed I was whitelisted from the last time I talked to Maru, even though I forgot what his skype was.

Portal overlap is very annoying..

Maru's modded server, when I go through the Nether-side of my portal, I re-enter the main world through a different portal instead of my own, into someone's house.

The annoying part is I died on the way back to my own house (lack of food + skeleton) and lost a full set of Adamantine tools and armor...

BE SURE TO READ IT!!

IVE ADDED NEW STUFF AND REMOVED OLD REDUNDANT STUFFF AND UPDATED VERSION NUMBERS NEEDED!!!!!!

FTAO USERS OF METHOD ONE: If your mod requires MODLOADER but you already have a mod requiring FORGE, FORGE has MODLOADER built into it, do NOT instal MODLOADER with FORGE, JUST USE FORGE.

Instructions Set 1 (For those of you who Understand Modding, and Want OTHER Mods As Well):
1. Download and instal the MagicLauncher
2. When opening the Magic Launcher MC Launcher, click Settings to edit your .jar settings.
3. Duplicate the Default (so you leave a default clean un-modded jar option) and name it whatever you want.
4. Add minecraftforge-client-3.3.8.152 to the mods list FIRST.
5. Add ExtraBiomesXL 2.2.6 for Minecraft 1.2.5 to the mods list SECOND.
6. Add Bunyan 1.3 to the mods list THIRD.
7. Add SimpleOres CLIENT version (1.2.5 v5) for Minecraft 1.2.5 FORGE VERSION to the mods list FOURTH.
8. Add NetherRocks CLIENT version (1.2.5) for Minecraft 1.2.5 FORGE VERSION to the mods list FIFTH.
9. Add Aquaculture 1.1.2 SSP Client Version to the mods list SIXTH
10. [OPTIONAL] Add any of your client-side mods here.
11. OPEN YOUR .MINECRAFT FOLDER
12. CONTINUE TO LAST STEP AT BOTTOM OF THIS POST

Instruction Set 2 (DRAG AND DROP FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THE ABOVE MEANS):
1. Open your Minecraft Game
2. Click the Texture Packs Button
3. Click the Open Texture Packs Folder Button
4. Go UP a folder to your .minecraft Folder.
5. Open the folder named BIN
6. Delete minecraft.jar
7. Replace it with THIS minecraft.jar
8. Go up a folder to your .minecraft folder AGAIN
9. CONTINUE ON TO LAST STEPS BELOW


LAST STEPS FOR BOTH METHODS:
1. Check to see if there is a folder named

2. Open .minecraft/config
3. Check to see if there is a folder named

Code: Select all

extrabiomes

. If not, Create one.
4. Open .minecraft/config/extrabiomes
5. Delete all contents of this folder, if any.
6. Put THIS FILE into the folder.
7. Close all of these windows. You're finished!

Now if you followed Route 1, Open MagicLauncher, Launch your Game, and Enjoy. If you followed Route 2, Open Minecraft.exe, log in, and Enjoy.
