My use of 'odd' inferred 'out of the ordinary...not easily explained' whereas I view weird as 'whacky or bizarre'. Which is not what I meant.

The two are synonyms. Both mean 'strange.' It's very notable you chose to go with a very pedantic semantic nitpick of the phrasing there.

It's easy Tebow...don't quote me with things I didn't say. That's misquoting. It's not about the semantics...it's that I don't like being misquoted. And while they are similar in meaning their primary meanings are different enough. If I had meant to say weird I'd have said weird.

How is my objection to being misquoted "very notable?"

@Arugula: *winces at the thought of saying this, but* I think McStab actually makes a valid point here...I'd like to hear about your reluctance to switch from Code_X along with the reasoning behind your reservations about a ChaosOmega lynch. Right now it could go either way (CO or McS), so I'm more interested in hearing about ChaosOmega since he's the one I don't have as much of a grasp of yet. Interested to see what you've got to say...

@Guttersnipe: I've read and understood your argument, but since it's nearing deadline would you consider doing a favor? I think it would be beneficial to the town, or at least to me, if you and others targeting ChaosOmega laid out your reasoning - plain and simple and updated to fit the current situation. I feel a little tunnelly right now focusing on McStab but I don't have enough of a read on Chaos at this point. Since you all seem so intent to push a Chaos lynch, or at least throw suspicion his way, what have you guys got to say that might convince me to change my vote?

If McStab flips scum either Guttersnipe was scum and hammered his lying, L-1 partner (WHY?!?), or he was town and derphammered a lying scum...which would be insanely lucky but nonetheless unfortunate (in a way) because it deprived us of 14 hours of discussion. If McStab flips cop then Guttersnipe should be our lynch. But like I said, I await the flip. He better've been lying...

To summarize Maestro's views on IS and Code_X, he doesn't think they should be lynched today. Nor do you. Maestro thinks I should be lynched, so do you. Oso thought I should be lynched, so did you. The next post you make after Oso decides I shouldn't be lynched and Code_X should, you decide I shouldn't and Code_X should. Difference is, Oso and Maestro gave real reasons for their reads; you followed in every single situation and haven't offered much at all in the way of reasoning.

I already provided reasons for why I wanted Code_X lynched, and I think Chaos is town for having genuine-sounding reads/posts. They don't seem to come from a scum POV.

But why are you pushing for a lynch on Guttersnipe already? McStab may just be jerking around with us, (I think an actual town cop would have claimed earlier and been waaay more against his own lynch) and Guttersnipe didn't hammer before the claim. Sure, he should have waited for McStab to claim, but just because Guttersnipe placed the last vote, doesn't mean he is an auto-lynch for tomorrow.

You chose to nitpick an obvious honest phrasing mistake rather than answer the question. And no, there is really no significant difference in meaning. If there had been, I wouldn't have made the mistake of mixing one synonym up for the other between reading the quote in one tab and quoting it in the other.

I didn't know I was putting him at L-1. You were the presumptive lynch. I wasn't sure I'd get on again tonight, and didn't want to leave my vote somewhere useless where it might cause us to be unable to get a majority on anyone, so I thought i'd stick it on the second biggest wagon in case you claimed cop and we had to scramble to get the second suspect lynched before DL.

I will be pushing for a Guttersnipe lynch. Nowhere do I say auto-lynch, in fact I've said I'm open to Chaosomega tomorrow. I've still been working on my big reads post so some of my thought process will be in there. I agree that McStab may be jerking us around and I personally believe it's more likely that McStab will flip scum or I wouldn't have voted for him.I was just expressing concern about the lynchflip by saying that if Guttersnipe came out of D1 having quickhammered a/the cop that I wouldn't be happy about it.
