- Still likely scum. Everything about his behaviour re: Molla's early game was awful. Jumped on pacman nonspecifically after a "re-read" (we never found out why), later said his views on me turned to "indifferent" after reread rather than town before. Why was that, izak? What was different about me on reread? Reaction to fake daykill very hammy. As soon as Molla asked if GARARARRR was an alt he ran with it (any excuse to talk about irrelevant stuff is good for scum). When he started having a go at GARARARRR (circa post 212) etc I think he'd spotted a player who he tought he could dominate and get lynched - before realising that he'd perhaps picked on someone the wrong size. Not partners with Mister X.

Mister X

- Setup speculation as soon as Molla made his initial "vote me" post, post 41 after lyncher claim also pretty bad. Suggested massclaim but could see that as a town ploy. Wanted an Axxle wagon, for no reason that I've seen. Not partners with izak and probably not with kondi either. Currently leaning not scum but flip-flopped on this throughout my reread.

Katsuki

- Fucked around with softclaiming and jokeclaiming early game for no apparent reason. A little bit quick to want Quilford killed upon his replacing in. I could see Katsuki as scum. Not partners with izak if so, though.

- 277 and then 305 are disturbingly parodic i-am-buddies-with-yellowbounder posts. 305 seems a really dumb one for a player like Quilford to make if it is what it looks like but 277 is more convincing. If there's a third mafia buddy, it's probably Quilford.

OK, that doesn't do anything to change my feeling that it's most likely Mister X.

Mister X: Why did you want an Axxle wagon in #271? Why did we never hear anything of it since then?

He also had that weird episode where he briefly put izak at L-1 before chickening out immediately. His JD scumread came out of nowhere, too, and didn't chime with me at all. That's what came up to me in my reread, but there's still his reaction to molla's early game which really made me think he was scum before a murkier mid-game.

Due to his interaction with kondi, I think Mister X is probably the final member of the mafia.

Also, do people want to back me up/shoot me down re: #411? Figure that's something we should all be clear on whether I'm right or wrong.

PGO kills anyone who targets them, not just killers, so nothing to do with whether petapan expected to be shot even if he could activate the ability at will, which he couldn't.

Based on my reads, I don't really feel like there's more than one scum left. I don't think Axxle can be either a mafia buddy or a werewolf, and you look much more town than Mister X.

If I'm the only town left, then I'm only kingmaker anyway - and I don't think this is a serious consideration at any rate.
If there are two of the same scum faction left, there's not a situation in which town can win, so it doesn't matter.
If there's two factions of one scum each left, this is safe as there won't be a quickhammer. Same goes for just the one scum.

This feels like a clear-cut POE for me.

Axxle's 118 makes me think that he's very unlikely to be a werewolf. This thing seems like the kind of thing that a scumpartner would allow their buddy freedom to explain, be able to write it off. It doesn't chime with me that Axxle would hop onto kondi's wagon in this way.

Then his 244 really kickstarted the yellowbounder wagon when the momentum was very much away from him. Seems a stretch that they would be buddies. It's then vastly exacerbated by his 283, which is for me the biggest indication that he's a) not a mafia buddy and b) town. He keeps stoking that YB wagon with town-minded questions that nobody else has thought to ask, picking him up on something the game as a whole had let go.

And then, one buddy already down, he does this to McStab? In a game he now knows has four kills in one night? No, I don't buy it. Axxle's town.

DoubleJD's extended prodding of Katsuki when he wasn't involved in the lynching reckoning (particularly here when he all but rules out ever backing down from his scumread) says to me that he's not a werewolf. There's not so much directly contradicting the prospect of him being mafia but I've not really had any kind of scumread on him at any stage and if there's one thing I've learned about LyLo in recent months it's not to contradict my gut at the death. If the situation were any different to what it I outlined at the top of this post, I wouldn't have voted Mister X just now, because I want more time to make sure that I've not missed anything, but I don't think they're both scum because neither of them look like werewolf candidates and if they're both mafia then the game's over anyway. So this is what I want to do for the time being.

My first post of Day 2 was at 1:01pm BST, which was one minute into the start of a long work day for me. I could have voted him then but, not having any time to digest the nightkill results and their reflection on the rest of the game (I'd tracked him to a dead mafiate, after all - had to double-check his scum possibilities as a result), I wanted to wait until I had time to put forward a proper case on him (hence my big summary post on Monday in which I voted izak).

One thing I noticed from JD's analysis is that Mister X's reaction to pacman's fake day kill might have been that of a mafiate without a day gig in his team trying to cash in on it.

Re: petapan's post, at that point I was indeed of the belief that izak was a werewolf. I didn't mind what took people to the lynch as long as he was lynched (we could deal with the wagoners after we'd lynched him) so I welcomed petapan shooting down the reasons not to vote izak.

So I'm pretty much comfortable with a no lynch now. I don't think there's much chance of it changing anything but it looks unlikely to harm us.
