This early, I am somewhat suspicious of everyone and I certainly can understand if others are suspicious of me and not get my knickers in a twist over it. My focus is getting discussion going and pegging the other players so I can figure out who is scum.

Mort tends to have tunnel vision. He almost always assumes I am scum even when proven wrong.

Meanwhile I want to hear more from Robo, now that Venmar spoke. I really do have a method to my madness even if it is not fully apparent off the bat.

I am a big picture person and I work hard to peg everyone as soon as I can, leaving room of course for some major scum tells. So it is not set in stone town or scum especially this early, however it gives me a good guideline of who is likely scum and who is likely not scum.

Mort, on the other hand, has a very straight for the jugular approach on one person and not let go til they are dead.

Yes I have been having RL issues and I am working hard to keep up with my games. Looks like I won't be going V/LA though, since my dad will not be able to come down after all before starting chemo and radiation therapy on Thursday.

Where on earth did I say his tunnel vision is scummy I did not. However if you look at the other game he so graciously pointed out, you will find that he pushed a fair bit on my predecessor (Field Armada), and he continued a pattern of tunneling on other players til he was lynched.

Both the games he and I were in he was town. I think he is town but not looking at the big picture and tunneling too much.

ATM I feel that Venmar and Jackal are the most scummy, however caveat with Jackal is he always seems scummy even when he is VT or a PR. uggh.

I am going to look at ISOs tonight and put my vote on somewhere more solid. I am feeling more and more like Robo is probably town.

Tunneling by itself is not always a scum tell, however several people have asked TTS for reads on OTHER players besides just Zach. So far he has not complied, not even shown interest in anyone other than Zach. This could be a scum ploy to appear to be scum hunting when not.

To make it clearer:

@TTS What is your reads and thoughts on the players who are NOT Zach ?

You would be wrong there I am Not going to claim a role I am not. Even when I am scUm, I Rarely fake claim. To me, it Seems silly to fake claim a power Role you do not have, since Eventually you will get caught out. I am not a doc, but I am not scum either. It would be better to save me for in reserve.

I dont want all the docs to protect me that would be nuts spread it around and protect the people you feel are most likely not scum. One thing I do know about scum is they do not always NK the confirmed townie esp one like mine which is a VT until a doc dies.

yes a NL is bad especially on D1

I have to admit I can see why people would be suspicious of you Mort for the way we had to pull teeth to get you to claim your action and I could see scum motivation, however I think it is more likely that you drew a bad doc role instead. Scum probably targeted someone who had good protection.

Based on my experiences in other games with Mort, I am inclined to believe him. Stubbornness is quite common from town-Mort.
Tonight I will make sure I do an action and hopefully I did not inherit one of the bad doc roles.

Anyways I am not white knighting him I just have seen his behavior so many times as town and in those games his behavior was just like this. I usually try to figure out who is most likely town while figuring out the scum because it helps me narrow down the scum pool.

Those of you, who are all out for Mort's lynch, as was brought up there are some not so hot doc roles in this game, not all are equal. We can however rule out that he is the paranoid Doc, or the regular Doc, that most likely if he is not scum, he is either the Quack Doc or the Naive Doc. (First case kills his patient instead of saving him, Second case is powerless to protect his patient.)

So that being said, I think Mort is a bad lynch for today because we do not have enough data. Besides two of us did not protect someone last night which muddies it up even more. I think we need to look closely at those pushing for a Mort lynch. Scum often push an easy lynch, and lynching Mort is too easy. (No offense Mort, but your playstyle plus your patient dying of course does make it seem like an easy case on you.) I find that suspicious.
