So, I'm playing an M13 prerelease event.

Match 1, game 1, I had to mull to 4 to get a land in my hand, then was stuck at one land all game and lost.

Match 1, game 2, I had to mull to 4 to get a land in my hand, then was stuck at one land all game and lost.

Match 2, game 1, I had to mull to 4 to get a land in my hand, then was stuck at one land all game and lost.

Match 2, game 2, I had to mull to 4 to get a land in my hand, then was stuck at one land all game and lost.

Whoever says 17 lands in a 40 card deck is right is a horrible person.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

You missed the word "budget" in the deck-title, I think.

Dual lands are budget. They're easy to trade for and usually $3-$4 a piece to fill in.

Doesn't mean he has them now. This is kind of the point that we were trying to make here.

16-18 lands in your 40 card draft deck is right in 95% of all formats.

Shuffle better :P

If you're getting statistically highly unlikely results chances are that your shuffling is at fault. At least 13 good riffles for randomization, remember? Pile shuffling does jack, remember?

I was on MTGO, so the RNG was shuffling on my behalf.

It wasn't the greatest deck, but I thought it was a pretty solid BG aggro deck- cracked a couple Murders and some decent creatures. But I just couldn't draw land to save my life.

Truly random != broken

MTGO shuffles catch paper-players off guard more often than not because, in actuality, your paper shuffles aren't truly 100% randomized. So when put into an environment where the shuffles
are
100% randomized, this throws some players.

It's been mathematically proven as sound. You can google mtgo shuffler. Here, I did it for you http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=336524; if you believe that crap about a doom switch, I don't even xD

Same. I built White Weenie, GW Slivers, and Orzhov for Pauper. Though I may want a look at your list, since my Sliver and Orzhov decks seem a bit flat, if you're amenable.

Are StarCityGames and TCGplayer.com worthwhile places to buy cards from.

Also, my EDH deck is in Dear Azami this week!

Boros is sick in general. I'm starting to have a little more respect for black in AVR draft though.

You're behind the times. I try to force black frequently. Most people who know what they're doing have been trying to do that for a while. Everyone hates black so you get like the most insane decks ever sometimes. I had a deck with 2 homicidal seclusions 3 death wind 3 bone splinters the other day. I mean, how is that even beatable?

That's what I mean, if you're the person willing to take black at the table, you can construct some sick mono black decks, but I still think a couple seraph of dawns, or wingcrafter combos put up the good fight. It just really depends, but I often see people trying to run B/X, which doesn't tend to work.
