Ticket to Ride, anyone?

Look at me actually being on topic and not clogging the thread! Go me!

Well fine, what's a simple game the Mish Mash populace would like to see ran?
There will be no kisses tonight
There will be no holding hands tonight
'Cause what is now wasn't there before and should not be

Is there anyone here familiar with Twilight Struggle that'd be interested in a game? I'd only need two players, but I'd vastly prefer that they already know how to play.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Contact - It's like twenty questions, but you ask about the word rather than about attributes that the object represented by the word possesses. There is no limit to the number of players allowed and the game begins immediately.

Because I'm a shameless whore, I think that I should link my Guide to Not Fucking Up MishMash Games (more relevant for larger games). A new section on Co-Mods has been added for those interested.

Found stuff to fix Xalxe 9I found the grammar Nazi within):

Walk Away

After 48+ hours, you can look at it again. Just look, don't edit. Evaluate it honestly. Is it an interesting game?
It is over the top?
Will the players enjoy it? Is it doable? If not, edit it and repeat this step until it is a good setup.

Co-Mods and You

Once the game starts, communication is absolutely.
Make yourself available as much as possible to talk with your co-mods. If you disappear off the face of the earth, it doesn't work well for anybody. In addition, do your fucking job. I left a game because I was taking far too much time with it when I hadn't intended to, all because we didn't discuss responsibilities beforehand. If you have a good mod team, the game will be beautiful (see: King Boo's Revenge), otherwise, it can end up a flustercuck (see: [REDACTED]).

Conclusion

I would also add that this guide is by no means perfect. I can think of at least one game that blatantly violated half of this guide (hint: They did like zero planning)
that is incredibly successful,
so it just goes to show you that I'm human, and I can be wrong. These are my personal views, not site policy. You can certainly ignore this guide and go back to making shit up as you go.
Show
I definitely did NOT just lose the game. :)

So close, yet so far. (Note: The mistake in your post is the underlined part)

This part is not a mistake; when I wrote the guide it was still ongoing. However, it is now past tense.

I'll let somebody else take Cybele's post.

No, the point is that it is misspelled. Muphry's law is a thing.

Was wondering if anyone was interested in a game of Bang! -- I'm willing to mod one, but the last game looks like it stalled.

Over the course of this month, I've been running Liar's Dice as part of the Mish Mash Olympics, as I've been scheduled to do so even though the Olympics were wiped out in the Crash.
Then... there's not really much point in holding the Mish Mash Olympics if there isn't actually going to a tournament for it, is there?
As such, I've decided to take over and run October and November as well. The original hosts of those events haven't been seen in months, so starting October 1, we have the...

Image

Originally run by diginova twice in 2011, the Decathlon is the ultimate test of strength, skill, determination, and luck. As the name suggests, it is a series of ten events involving various methods of rolling dice. Honours are awarded as bonus points to the top scorers in each event, and the top scorers overall win CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS towards the overall Olympics championship. (This will also happen in Liar's Dice)
Similarly to Liar's Dice, there'll be a week of pre-/ins, then a week of actual signups before it starts on the first of October. Signups are unlimited. In addition, anyone that is also in Liar's Dice will be entitled to claim a country for their own for the Olympics overall (on a first-come-first-serve basis). In future, everyone will be entitled to claim a country when they sign up for their second event (out of the four planned). Sound great? Feel free to /in then! Doesn't sound great? /in anyway so that I can prove you wrong!
