I chose no action N0. I was so concerned with confirming Hated status I am "trolled" by any player I target and acquire their negative component.

Being a Redirector also means there is no Vote Thief in the game.

Well aside from the fact that the "Wanting to avoid being Hated" reads as survivalist and that your claim doesn't confirm alignment ...

Actually looking at the Negative Role List this REALLY doesn't make sense. You weren't worried about being slowed, made brazen, made a Miller, or Magnetic? Your main concern was being Hated?

And if you were cognizant of Hated being a negative utility for a Town player (which is your claim for why you didn't shoot) why were YOU not worried about L-2 implications before the Vote Count?

Those are two independent sentences. I confirmed shotty as hated because it concerns my role and my strategies, not because I am trying to avoid being hated by taking no night action. Being hated isn't all that bad for my position. The game doesn't have a Vote Thief and I've already claimed so it would be apparent to everyone why I turn hated mid-game. The only downside would be I have to die before LyLo.

I decided to take no action N0 because it was a kill-less night, and any redirecting would very likely just mess up the town PRs.

The only traits I wouldn't mind having are the Miller or Macho traits because, as Ascetic, I cannot be targeted by investigative or protective roles.

And again, L-2 never bothered me because I was aware there was not a Vote Thief present in the game.

My biggest issue with Rubick is his vote on drmy just to test it, when earlier he was voting Sal as a serious vote (and then goes back to it). Why would anyone leave a serious vote, just to test a claim? I don't like it.

Claims are generally worthless in this game - roles and modifiers are not indicative of alignment, and fake claims would be hard to pull off (except for the two scum players switching their claims).

If somebody wants to counterclaim Rubick, feel free to do so. I assume Rubick's telling the truth, but that says nothing about his alignment.

Yes, but your stance is that people who don’t have your “Lack of Inside Knowledge” on the Vote Thief front shouldn’t have been wary on Page 1 pre-vote count. I don’t think that makes much sense.

Sheesh I've read this "L-2" argument multiple times and I still don't understand it. I'll look at that yet again when I get a bit more time today.

Rubick's testing out the vote to get mod-confirmation doesn't seem like an alignment tell to me either way. At one vote on shotgun, shotgun wasn't in danger of being lynched. So MoI's calling it a move to look town doesn't make sense to me; it doesn't make him look town at all.

Having said that, this is curious to me:

Since I get trolled by players, it's in my best interest to be as thorough as I can be about negative role claims.

It's not that I thought, with any degree of certainty, shotty would lie about his role, it's simply that his claim was soooo easy to verify that I thought it better to play it safe. I don't care how it makes me "look", negative claims can affect my role and I have every right to be concerned about them.

So who is your scum-team. You are ruling out GNR as Town for not being scum with Iceguy or myself. Yet you are voting Sala so either you are voting someone you don’t think is scum or your GNR is Town analysis is predicated on invalid premises and thus looks faked. Saulres already pointed this out.

I thought that should be clear from the context of my quote – I saw that the Vote Count by AV reflected me being at effectively Zero votes. This meant that there was a Vote-Thief out there and I wanted to know for certain before proceeding.
