Depends. If you're fucking around under someone's build, or in some cases under a town or whatever, then they might be peeved, but otherwise if you're off in bumfuck nowhere the odds of them finding it are low anyway.

Is it possible to play Minecraft wrong? Like, the way I play is just mine down and across in a random direction until I find something, then mine the shit out of it, then go back to it. Then I see all these people make proper mines and stuff and it makes me worry about joining servers and fucking shit up. Basically, how do I do things properly on Minecraft?

When you spend every day all day for months doing something i don't give a shit how virtual it is, it gets to the point where its important to you.

Due to the recent influx of n00bz to the server, I felt this was relevant. In order to not be lame and join the cool kids, you need a Minecraft skin!

But Xalxe, how do I get one?

Well, usually people get skins by either making one or finding one. For finding one, I use MinerShoes, which allows you to either find a pre-created skin or make one of bits of other skins in the Armory. If you don't like those options, Google only turns up 12 million results for Minecraft skins. If you want to make one all on your own, go to your Minecraft profile, download the reference skin and muck with it in your favorite image editing program.

If you find a skin that you like but want minor alterations to, PM me. I can do simple things like change colors or whatever.

Okay I made/found a skin! How do I wear it?

First, you're going to need to download or save the image as a .png on your computer. Put it somewhere you'll remember! Next, go back to your Minecraft profile. At the bottom you'll see an option to upload your skin. Do that, hit submit and you're looking snazzy in your new threads!

What if I like the skin of a Minecraft YouTuber/friend of mine/yours?

MinerShoes has a function where you can type in a Minecraft username and it'll show their skin for download. Just be sure that you're getting the caps right, it's case sensitive.

I've been in the maze. If you are running default with minimal settings and no texture packs, you get 0 lag. I don't even think it phased my computer. If you've got a fancy setup, good luck. If you don't, you don't need to worry.
