Frankly, I think this warrants a de-op for izak. He abused his op powers to give himself items that are unobtainable in the current version of the game just to prank someone. This prank ended up destorying a decent part of Kc's property, and also UT's property, who wasn't even involved in the prank in the first place.

Everytime I try and go on this server I get MASSIVE amounts of server lag.
Like just then I broke a whole tree from the top down and it took about 2 minutes for the items to fall.

I might just mention that heavy lag includes waiting up to 2 minutes just to actually move around when loading up the server.

So like, yesterday my lag problem wasn't as bad, but it came back again today, so I decided to see if I can find ways to reduce server lag.
Apparently, excessive flowing water and lava cause lots of lag, and so do self-powered redstone circuits.
I think we should do a clean up of the server to try and help with the lag problems. Mainly we should try and get rid of things that create lag and aren't really used anymore.
Would anyone consider doing this?
My first course of action would be either removing, or storing UT/IUT's lava wall around their compound.

These features should hopefully be in 1.4. Here are just some of the interesting ones.

Entities (such as Cows, Minecarts & Ghasts) will be able to travel through Nether Portals and End Portals.

Entities will pass through instantly, but at a longer "cooldown".
There are no restrictions, any entity at all can travel through the portals.
Will allow fire burning entities like blazes to leave the nether and potentially burn things.
Portals will teleport an Entity relative to where it entered.
Added new potions:

Night Vision potion.
Invisibility potion.
Now hides the nametag
Mobs do not see you until you bump into them.
Turns mobs invisible too.

Zombies infect villagers now

The villager is immediately turned into a zombie
On Normal difficulty, there is a 50% chance of infection and on Hard difficulty there is a 100% chance of infection
Infected baby villagers turn into baby zombies
Baby zombies are 50% faster, don't age and don't burn up in the sun
Infected villagers will turn in to villagers again if you throw a Splash Potion of Weakness at them and right click on them with a normal golden apple.
Villagers can now like and dislike you

Villagers who dislike you will refuse to trade
Villagers will dislike you more for killing their friends or allowing them to die
Depending on how much villagers like you, they will start to offer you better trades
Trades may be made permanent again or last shorter/longer
Added Corner Stairs
Heads can be placed for decoration

Skeleton, wither skeleton, zombie, player and creeper heads.
Can be placed in the same angles as signs.
Can be hung against walls.
Can be used as hats.
You'll have the skin of the mob on your head, but only for the first layer.

Some of these sound really cool (I left out the Wither boss part since you guys probably already know it). Though I think the Villagers like/dislike thing will get annoying.

Here's the best part about the update though:

Added Potatoes, Baked Potato and Poisonous Potato.

Idk, I've fiddled around with portal blocks before and I've had no problems (other than not being able to be placed next to each-other). I don't see why you would be having problems.

Basically right now I'm stuck in a ravine that's a part of a fucking huge cave system that spans at least 5 other ravines or something.

To mine obsidian you need a diamond pick (also in case you don't know yet, obsidian can be made when you put water over a lava source block (so not flowing but standing still basically). The only boss right now is the Enderdragon, but in 1.4 there will be a new boss mob called the Wither boss (or something like that).

Mycelium Quest"

Poor old Mycelium, it's a rare find in the world of minecraft, what with big ol' grass bullying it around. Every time it tries to set foot in the normal world, grass takes care of it before long, leaving poor Mycelium unable to explore the world. Instead they just get reduced to a single biome type and are never found anywhere else.
It's your job to give Mycelium a chance.

So basically what I'm doing is making a superflat world and am going to put down a few blocks of Mycelium and see how long it takes for them to take over the world.

Tried making a mini Zombies vs. Villagers game, however for some reason the Zombies started spawning too early (while I was putting the Villager eggs in the dispensers) and therefore they took over too fast.
Feel free to adapt this idea further.

Also yes I know the redstone is shoddy but I don't really care lol.

Guys I'm reformatting the mountainy area behind Omnomia for residential uses, there will be three main layers with roughly 10 layers between each of them so people can build inside. Currently only the top layer is finished and ready for use.
To get there just go down the Omnomia path from spawn and take a left instead of going down the stairs further.

The map must have been rolled back or something and I lost my potato farm. I had 6 and a half stacks of potatoes too and I lost them because I put them in a chest (which got rolled back).

I don't want to have the majority of the world regened except the parts where people have built, it sounds fucking dumb since it's nothing close to world reset. If we wanted to use that regened area we would have before it was regened.

People can /in to it in the thread and come Wednesday I can send out who gives something to who, we can all put the presents down next to the huge pine tree I'm building near Distantlands warp and then on Christmas day we can open the presents (or maybe a bit after Christmas to give people more time).

Maestro yes there should be in the chest you placed, however there are 3 diamonds short because I slightly overestimated how many diamonds I actually had (aka now I have no diamonds :P)
