Ok managed to get some free time tonight to be able to type up this post. Sorry in advance if it sounds rushed, I'm pretty exhausted.

- I use certain expressions such as "unimpressive" or "obtuse" to explain my feelings. For example i say Obtuse when I think someone is being stupid on purpose. Whatever secondary feeling i have attached to the way I express my opinions are all linked to the fact I think they were scummy. I do not understand how this is a scumtell however, perhaps you could explain?

I don't think this is exactly true. Here are some differences I noted in some of your old games:

In Open 427 and Open 429, your scumhunting (especially re: setup discussion in the former game) and reads come across to me as much more thoughtful, thorough, and genuine. For example, in #112 and #339/#370 of the latter, you go into pretty intense detail for why you vote and suspect CitySnake/TAM respectively. Hell, even in Open 434 (just ended recently), you go into huge detail for your Arugula FoS in #303 and later posting. Compare that with Open 414 where you generally suspect people for shallow reasons (see #729, where you suspect JohnnyFarrar on just a few hollow points of logic regarding his "filler-ish" like contributions and his tone) and Open 418 where you mostly just ask a few surface probing questions at the start and don't really get too deep into things.

In short, I think your play right now is miles off your townplay as I've interpreted it through the linked games. That's why I feel like you're using words like "unimpressive" and "obtuse" as shortcuts to avoid giving the in-depth analysis I saw consistently from your town games.

- In post 171, I don't know what is so shallow or unexplained about what I said about Hoopla. I said that her unneeded role speculation on Grump's role was scummy, and that her lack of explanation for a OGML wagon was scummy as well. Not to mention this is hypocritical of you when you're saying i am scum for being shallow when that's exactly what Hoopla was regarding OGML.

What I find shallow about your Hoopla FoS is this: you're making her remarks to be a lot more than they actually were. She only made 1-2 passing remarks about her belief in the claim and her belief that it would eventually resolve itself. This is especially jarring considering Dayne made very similar comments himself in #140 (which you never push or pressure him on). Singling out Hoopla for starting a new wagon without explanation doesn't make much sense either since Dayne did the same thing #140 and Klick did the same thing in #137 (and you hadn't called them out either here). To me, it seems like you're reaching for reasons to justify hopping onto her wagon considering she had drawn suspicion if not outright votes at the time.

Another thing I found really odd was the way you shifted on Equinox. You called her obvious town in your first post of the game and apparently one line of her being paranoid that she's being townread is enough to destroy that read?

- You're just reaching with that reasoning for my vote on Klick. I listed Klick as one of my scumreads before, and throughout the game I have been addressing him in my posts and pointing out things that made him look scummy. Klick is someone who you form a scumread on but need time because he tends to increase it steadily rather than immediately, and the last few posts by Klick were enough to shut the cap on the bottle for me. My vote on Klick was legitimate. I'd also like to know which votes that I have pushed were "easy" and "opportunistic"? To my knowledge i've only voted Hoopla and Klick, which is an exageration on your part since I only had 2 votes so far, and I don't think Hoopla falls into such category.

The main reason I found your jump onto Klick scummy is mainly due to the timing and justification for the vote. The Klick wagon had been gaining a lot of traction so the placing him at L-1 seemed opportunistic. Your justification for the vote was primarily that he wasn't explaining his reads - he had been doing that all game: if you thought that was scummy and worth placing at L-1 only a few days before the deadline, why didn't you make an effort to pressure him further on elaborating on his reads? And can you explain to me how your scumread on Klick has progressively increased? Because personally I'm not seeing how it would.

m fine with hammering Venmar in a day or two, i dont know want to think in this game since most of my reads are in disagreement with mostly everyones. My only slight agreement is that venmar is slighlty scummy at points which would be enough to make me deadline vote him.

Venmar has apparently ignored the accusation OhGodMyLife laid against him, so forget what I said about waiting for Venmar to trip flags before I talked about that. I thought it odd that Venmar-scum would let that pass by him, since I'd expect scum to proofread their posts more closely than usual, but, uh, ignoring it makes it a different matter, not to mention Venmar has since skipped town on the question I'd asked him.

Sure. drmyshotgun probably isn't scum. Admittedly, it's a weak read, but I liked the way he reacted to me in the first couple of pages of the game when I voted him for hopping L-1s.

To get onto popular wagons. Venmar was getting votes, I went to vote him also. He wasn't that big a Town read for me.
The game was stalling so I want to see some dead bodies before I can get further into it.
Klick seemed a suspect with him being extremely lurky (basing on meta, he doesn't normally lurk when Town) and he got votes.
Venmar again in 244, was getting votes, with no advance in anything else, I'd just lynch him.
Other people's reasonings and cases seemed good enough for me, since even though Venmar flips Town, others and I can get reads off the lynch.
