Yes there are a lot of people from all over here so no worries CO2 and I know a few from the UK as well as Australia, India, and many other places besides North America.

Kilij I joined the site a few months ago because my bf (Nobody Special usually called NS) who has been here for quite some time and I decided to join each other's games. I had never played any kind of mafia game before this side so you can have just as much fun learning as someone who has played on other sites. I certainly have.

Telo my bf NS and I are also in CA but more middle in Modesto.

new to the site, not new to mafia. I have played on other message boards but for some reason just haven't added this one to my collection.

I am mostly used to the timed game format although I have played an untimed game before (it lasted 3 months). it is interesting to note how changing the format changes the approach to the game.

I got killed in an earlier game this morning on another site so I am all like arrggghh!!!! I need a game so I hope I get picked up. it is always fun to play with new people, it sharpens my skillz and helps me to tighten up my game.

Hi everybody.

I'm a college student who was just introduced to the game by the school's (face to face obviously) mafia club. So far my experience consists of four in-person games and one forum game on a different website that just started.

I stumbled on this site last night and I want in on this epicosity and awesomeitude.

I'm at Cornell University studying computer science. Among my other interests are Rubik's Cubes (points at avatar, points at username), various webcomics, and a cartoon about scaled down young horses.

So, um, yeah.

Uh that was epicosity... As in:

Hello all.

The first time I played mafia was in High School (some years ago now) and I loved it. I joined an online mafia game community and then started a mafia group at my school for my senior year.

Course it's all fun and games and I intend to enjoy finding a new group to play thi since I have seen some resurgencies of interest among people I used to play this with.

And it looks like this group is rather stable, so I would more than enjoy participating here.

How long are the phases then?

Depends on the game, but most days last between a week and two weeks in the early game. Micros have a definitely shorter time frame, and sometimes we do Marathons or Chat games that are measured in hours.

Hello, I am a kiwi. I was here in '06/'07ish with another account. I only played a couple newbie games.

But I'm back with a vengeance! The meta/game has changed quite a bit. I feel like I'm starting all over again! New roles, new setups, new faces! I'm pretty sure the newbie games were in the (very?) low hundreds.. now it's over a thousand!

Anyway, I vaguely remember Mr. Flay and a few others. Is Internet Stranger (IS) still around? He was a crazy cat.
