And before I get banned for trolling, let me assure you that I mean it as a real nomination. I think it expresses UN's on-site presence pretty well.

It's an acknowledgement both of the occasionally quite astute nature of his posting, and of its obnoxiousness and capacity to raise communal blood pressure. It's also the same title ReaperCharlie was nominated for once, which ties into the whole running joke that UN is an RC alt.

But really, it would be much healthier for you if you embraced the RC gag. The parallels between you two are uncanny, and the comparison, I'm sure, will be made time and again with or without me--you can either soften the blow by getting in on it, or you can keep protesting and get offended every time someone somewhere thinks you resemble someone else.

For better or worse, you're part of this community. But an all-positive title doesn't suit you, and I don't think your past should be whitewashed like that. If your title is to be a fair representation of your on-site presence (as is the purpose of titles in my mind), your divisive persona should be referenced.

Asstoot was meant to do that while giving you credit. You don't have to like it, but I think that it's the best title you have been nommed for thus far.

I know Danger, Granger is confusing if you don't get the fact that Granger is an address, but it clearly equates Umbrage with Dolores, while Granger Danger makes it ambiguous, and leaves open the interpretation that it's a comparison to Hermione.

Either we should focus on a specific characteristic that we all know Korts to have (that isn't offensive) or just give up and stop thinking about random things. Because that was fitting trying to fit a person to the title. Not the other way around.

To be entirely fair, being Hungarian is a specific characteristic that you all know me to have.

The thing about ActionDan's title is if he and chesskid become the Princeton tag team of Pride and Joy, that kind of excludes (or at least puts them above) all other Princeton students. IIRC Ellibereth and now Psyche are just as public about their affiliation with Princeton as ActionDan is, it's really only chesskid who flaunted it so much that it became a defining trait.

Plus as a standalone title Princeton's Pride works, not least because of the alliteration. Princeton's Joy only works alongside Pride.

And if the connection is just that people play this game at meets, I really don't see how it rises above all the other games in importance, and specifically in importance to CDB's image.

Every other player on the site has anger issues. It's kind of an insult to say that the most notable thing about Maestro is how he doesn't stand out in a group of randomly chosen scummers.

Yeah that avatar may be one of the most distinct on the site, but it's not really something Sudo is defined by--and certainly not by a minor detail in it. The relevant conversation was fairly outstanding, but when I think of Sudo, I think of Portland and spiders, not half a page of people commenting on his dragon balls.
