The bust of Agent Denton and lack of overall crime over the Thanksgiving weekend had caused a sense of relief in the ranks of Chicago city employees and cops. Perhaps the madness that had occurred as of late had subsided. But that didn’t stop some overzealous citizens from taking the law into their own hands. The victim was a bar owner who just happened to cater to the wrong crowd. And unfortunately the ending wasn’t a positive one this time around.

Staying Alive, Staying Alive, Ah Ah Ah Ah

After what ended up being termed a “slight overreaction” in the death of the bar owner Chicago PD stepped up their activities all over the city. Federal money, in no small part influenced by the fact the FBI had an Agent implicit in the local wrong-doing, had come flowing in to help Chicago fund additional hiring. The Mayor was on a roll and had backing from pretty much every major sector of the Chicago political and financial scenes. People wanted the problem solved ASAP.

And it looks like, at least for the time being, Chicago PD was successful on that front.

The puppy might be wearing a blindfold instead of an eyepatch here, but that softclaim needs to come out now. We can't see anything in 1132. If you're claiming membership in the Alphas and that you are connected to each other, out with it. There is no point in hiding that kind of information now if we are narrowing down lynches to a very specific set of people.

@Sixty - ask MoI after the game. Ability name is Field Medic, flavor along the lines that enough battlefield dressings taught me how to keep someone from being killed from an injury, and i will use magic and experience to dress wounds.
