The Pokemon Nuzlocke Thread

Klazam got it right. No boxing means that you cannot box pokemon. This means that you may not catch more than 6 pkoemon, as that would necessitate putting a pokemon in the box. And I doubt any of you would be heartless enough to kill off a teammate to make way for another, yes?

I'd kill off my bidoof for another teammate! Actually, could I just release one when I got to 6 before going onto a new route? Because two normal and two water isn't going to fly for long.

Needless to say, I've been grinding. Haven't even gotten to Jubilife.

forgot that my rival was at the nugget bridge, had a mini heart attack, but my zubat picked apart his bulbasaur. Nugget bridge was easy shit. then went into the route 24 grass.

FINALLY UPDATE 10! I know my sig says I was taking a break, but I realized this thread was picking up again and I want to stay in touch with the Minecraft community. Plus I wanted to see the results of PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING. But otherwise, yah I am taking a break.

Anyway, I began with Brittany dying to a Stantler. Poor thing. Lena replaces Brittany. I thought I would have a Rare Candy available for a quick level-up, but apparently not, so I headed to Ilex Forest to teach Lena Headbutt.

DARN STANTLER. Lena falls victim to one of those dern pseudo-psychic stomping deer. Her replacement makes a surprise return...Donald! Fortunately he only needs one level to grind.

I finally move on to Route 37, where it is now morning. This means a 60% chance of Pidgey, which is okayyy, but I'd much prefer a Growlithe or a Stantler.
The results are in and...Pidgey! Boo! Additionally it's male and Adele was playing Missed opportunities...anyway, Mark is caught and sent to Storage. One of the Beauties on this route had a Clefairy which used a Metronome-created Drill Peck on my Heracross...luckily he survived.

Made it to Ecruteak City, and that is where my journey ends for now.

Are we allowed to use day cares? Just thinking of it, I could put one in the day care, have 6 on hand and never need to have any in the box. That way, I would avoid the HM slave slot.

They are too op in this type of game- put one in, run up and down until it reaches level 100, pay 1000 and just own everything.

Only takes you around 3 hours of going up and down.

I actually trained most of mine to 100 that I liked. But, I was never happy because their evs were messed up. I mean, a level 70 pokemon should have no issues with the elite four, so it was mainly for pride.

In the Burned Tower...A ZUBAT! YAY WE CAN BE REUNITED! And an Adele song was playing and Zubat was female! Unfortunately, that means Donald is stored again, poor thing. But now I have a bunch more grinding...

...whilst doing so, Adele died to a--wait for it--Stantler. Donald returns again.

I mean you can box pokemon in a nuzlocke. Almost everyone on the nuzlocke forums does incase of deaths or wipes.

yah I've never trained a pokemon to level 100. like never. I think the highest might have been 70.

I think it is more interesting to not box, but if I lose one, do I go to a route I've never trained on to recover a pokemon (Saying i have 6 here, one dies, and I've fought on every route. Am I now stuck with five?)

I think if you're choosing not to allow stored pokemon, then yes, you will be stuck with five until you reach a new area. But, as Nuzlocke is so flexible, it is ultimately your choice.
