I don't know any of you, and reading this thread has told me so much about the community that's here.

Reck (if I may), you handled your situation the best you could...unfortunately, for a couple of my friends who were in the closet, they didn't take their parent's rejection so well, and as such, they're no longer with us. You're a strong man for dealing with it the way you did. Who gives a fuck if you drank yourself stupid? The fact is, you're still here, and you're no doubt a better person for it.

I look forward to hopefully playing a game with you someday, though I still have yet to play my first, but that may or may not be my fault.
