Ok initial impressions from my skim read ISOs later after more coffee I slept most of the day away (not been feeling well).

JS I hope you are ready to play major catchup with only 8 days to go and you on V/LA for 3 of them. I really want to get a handle on your slot.

Melmond makes me twitchy. It is more like he pops on periodically just enough to keep from being considered lurking.

Orci is probably newbtown. The whole froofroo with Majiffy seems town v town. Townies often can be very stubborn and I think a newbscum would be working harder to blend in and not draw so much attention to him or herself.

FT has been on site long enough not to be a newbie anymore. I want to read this ISO because like melmond FT is making me twitch.

Voded and Majiffy will definitely take some time to digest, both are very good players and not the easiest to read. ATM though I am placing them in the likely town pile.

@ Majiffy it does not surprise me that you and Thor have a hydra dang that is a powerful combination. and LOL at your intro. I am just NS's gf ♥

lol that is Tierce though... Keep on with it. At some point, NS and I may hydra since it is way too difficult for us to play in the same games (with one of us modding works though). Might have something to do with the fact we share an 8.5 by 11.5 room as an office. Plus we work together as well as play games together.

I thought Siv was scummy based on his play, I am still trying to determine Thor. It takes me a while with Thor because he is Thor.

I do not see this case on Mollie, though I have never seen her as scum before, she was town in the games we have played before.

Voided I so remember that game gah the Innocent Children in it were a pain. As for the claim of him buddying up to me in that game, well people generally like me, even if I am a so so player in Mafia. I think it was more responding to personality than buddying actually especially since he was trying not to lose his temper with the one rather VI who was an Innocent Child and refusing to help town in any way. I don't think he is playing any more thank goodness.

Simple Majiffy you are in the same pile as Thor both of you take a while to sort out.

But I did say earlier that I had you as leaning town and so far that has not changed much. I don't see you and Thor as both being scum, as Jacob threw out as a possibility, you two are being too chummy with each other for that. If you both were scum, you would not pay that much attention to each other or bus for town cred. Though with you two anything might happen. But that would be too cruel to town for that to happen, so I am going on the basis that one of you may be town one maybe scum or both of you are town.

Every game I have been in with Thor where he was town he has pushed hard for my lynch.

I am rethinking my read on you Thor with the flip. At this point, after I do a read through, I may end up sheeping Majiffy and you. The fact that both of you are voting for the person is more indicative of you both being town than one of you being scum.

1. I had a scum read on your predecessor. People may change but the slot does not.

2. You did not go all out to get me lynched and that threw me off.

I know that is not much of a case, hence with the info we now have I am rethinking your slot. It is possible that it was just scummy play on the part of your predecessor.

Yes his response to my question . I gave him a chance to switch to one of his favorite lynch targets and he basically did a what the smurf as he would put it. He has continued to push the HD wagon, even though he could jump over to mine. That tells me he really thinks HD is scum and that I am probably not in his mind. However he is not defending me either. So putting that together seems more towny to me.

@ FT I don't see the scum read on Majiffy? Looking forward to your case on him.

Now that it is over, I can state that I had some major issues come up with the game I was modding. I will look at this game, maybe even look at some finished cult games to better understand the game mechanics here. I feel a bit out of my depth here.

It does matter. Since there are no true mafia in this game just an SK and the Cult. It would make far more sense that your reading would be town or cult with an immune on the 3rd party SK.

I don't think its likely there is a Doc cause if there was knowing my luck, I would be Doc yet again.. I have decided Random.Org hates me and I am somehow a Doc magnet. Been Doc in far more games than is statistically sound. Even recently as an alt (Marion Zimmer Bradley) in Author Mafia, I ended up still getting Doc. (end of rant)

Voided I can't believe you did a Meta lol. Just before my first game on site, NS was modding a Newbie game with Meta and had an issue (town pulled off a win anyway), with Meta forgetting he was scum in the game and not sending in kills cause he thought he was VT.

I could see him as a recruiter more likely than as the recruited actually, would explain you not being recruited. And I notice he never answered my issue either. The way he claimed cop just seems so off. And not in the same way that Voided's claim was off. Voided sounds like uhhh derp while FT was trying to get the spotlight off of him and just rattled off standard cop results for a game such as a Nwbie game or a normal game, this however is not a normal game and his scum town does not make sense with the setup.

Good game all. Jacob you did a great job I did not suspect you at all, had my doubts about Thor and Voided.

FT if you are going to be a Town Cop, you need to play with more conviction, and make sure you investigate every night. The clincher for me, besides the way you said your results, was that offhand comment about me being cult. I knew for a fact that I had not been recruited. Your offhand play made you a perfect mislynch fodder especially with the lack of real scumhunting.


Pedit LOL Thor does have a wicked wit Mollie. Actually he would have been recruited because he is Thor, just like he usually is NKed early because he is Thor. Anyone who knows his rep wants him on their side and if he is not, they want him dead.

What made me suspicious of Thor though was the complete change. Instead of going after me like he usually does, he went hard after HD, then suddenly switched. But I did not think I was capable enough a player to go after him full throttle. Voided I was of 2 minds I felt he might have been recruited after the initial clear, but I was not sure. And I was pretty sure his claim was a genuine derp. By that point, I was pretty sure that HD was VT and not recruited but I did not think he would believe I was as well, or else I would have tried to band with him to lynch Thor.

It really is not so much a meta thing Mollie as a dynamic tween him and I. He always tries to get me lynched off the bat, even tried to get me lynched in a newbie game where I was the IC and already dead lol. (He had replaced in). It was that switch that had me suspicious, I figured the drop off in activity had to have a reason, Thor is not a lurker generally.

I tend to be a big picture person and often easy lynch bait, especially when RL is being a pain. I know I still have a LOT to learn about how to play Mafia. I have only played it on this site. A bit over a year ago, before NS moved up to be with me, we joined each other's games to help with bonding more.
