It'll be interesting to see exactly how the final commie plays, though I don't have much doubt about tonights NK. On the very low chance I end up alive tomorrow, I'll see who I can clear.

A lot of discussion on this play. I don't think that leaving them both alive is the answer. We need to have a good lynch today. I would like to hear a response from LB, but I doubt that will matter too much.

I'm sure that if I claimed seer, and was in fact the seer, I would be around pretty quick to find out if someone else claimed seer then go after them. LB didn't. In fact, LB has been quiet since his claim, which leads me to believe that his claim was made to induce the real seer to come out.

More than 15 hours since a counterclaim was made.

I actually don't even know what it is that you can say in your defense that can really help you at this point. I am pretty sure that you are not the seer, however I did give the possibility of you trying to help by pretending you are the seer. The more I read this it seems less likely although would have def. been helpful for someone to do that in this game. Sorry, but time to find out wat's REALLY going on here.

well thanks for giving me so much time, Lucresia...

i had to go to work right after that post, and i worked late, so i'm just now up, but whatever...

my mission today has been accomplished, and i actually had Nai pegged as the cop early on D2, so he would've probably died tonight anyway...

good luck, partner, sorry i couldn't stick around longer

With 10 alive it is 6 to lynch!

After a heated argument about who is
really
the President of the Republic, the committee ultimately rules against LyingBrian. He is escorted to the street.

An inquiry later reveals that he was in league with the Soviets!

LyingBrian -
Communist
- expelled Day 2

Night 2! Night moves in 72 hours please.

PMing friday-13th again.

Norinel replaces friday-13th.

Day 3

As expected, with the President's identity revealed, the lone Communist wasted no time in eliminating him. The committee must proceed without its leader.

Nai -
President
- abducted Night 2

Today, again, only half of you are loyal to the Republic.

Note:
If you now lose two non-Islamists in a row, the Islamists will have won the game!

With 8 alive, it is 5 to lynch!

First reactions:

Unlikely Communists:
Zindaras
Zindaras wrote:This is a funny situation where it indeed may be better for the cop not to counterclaim (unless he's caught the other commie, obviously).
KingPin
Kingpin wrote:LB = Seer?

I cannot reconcile this!

Possible Communists:
Yosarian2
Yosarian2 wrote:The cop can only find communists anyway, so if LB is lying it'd be worth getting the cop to counterclaim in order to nail one of the only two communists.
Thestatusquo
Thestatusquo wrote:Conclusion: Seer should counterclaim if lying brian is not it. If I do not see a counter claim, I will assume lying brian is seer.
LyingBrian was going to be lynched before his fake claim. Obviously, he had nothing to lose by claiming Seer. And the Communists would have everything to gain if the real Seer counterclaimed.

Those that advised
against
the real Seer counterclaiming are less likely Communists (though says nothing if they are Islamists).

Those that advised
for
the real Seer counterclaiming are more likely Communists.

Vote: Thestatusquo
, since he was suspicious to me already. I'd be just as happy with Yosarian2. Obviously
both
cannot be Communists, but I believe one of them most likely is.

No, not really. If we lynch the last communist, then there won't be a night-kill tonight, and we'd go into tommorow with 4 town and 3 islamists. That might actually be the best chance we have at this point.

Despite the vote, he's right. :-) We need to prevent night-kills, first.

And just to clarify: both of you (Yosarian2 and Thestatusquo) see my placing a vote on LyingBrian when he tried his fake claim, as well as pointing it out, as further confirmation that we have been partners?

Hmm.

Perhaps Thestatusquo is the Islamist (would fit the "just get someone lynched" mentality) and Yosarian2 is the actual Communist.

I think that makes more sense.

Sorry germy but you're an idiot.

vote: germy

Obviously it'd be better to get rid of the communist in order to be sure we're keeping as many townies alive as possible. Once we get rid of night kills we'll have more control over the game since the possibility of a night kill is removed, hence we have more control of deaths in the game. If we keep the communist alive the town would have to go by chance to stay in the game.
