Quag, if you noticed, my first response to Pooky's case against me was to give reasons for why I was not scum, to give reasons as to what Pooky could be thinking.

You actually complimented me on it.

"NICE ONE, Atticus, now we can finally kill Pooky!"

Then he stopped trying to get me, and I stopped concentrating on him until he flipped out. Then I voted him and kept it on him for the rest of the day. There was never any deflecting it onto anyone else in
that
situation.

I'm going slow too, but not like 5 minutes. Just like, 6 times as long as usual.

Is that the reason for which we haven't seen you for 8 days?

olio wrote:The whole question - "Do you think that FB being scum means that Pooky is town?" - was utterly meaningless from pro-town point of view. If you "really" meant it to be "My point is why are you all defending and deferring to Pooky?", why didn't you ask it like that?
The reason I asked it that way first was to force you and others to acknowledge the fact that there it was possible that Pooky could be scum. To guard against defending and defering to scum.

I think MeMe might have been Pooky's target. Zombies are pro-town to start the game, right? (I've never played in a game with them, nor can I find the role in a reference.)

I've had a problem with Atticus myself, but found LB's rush to kill Pooky more distressing, regardless of the result.

TSQ is less helpful than usual, but I refuse to find him scummy due to the fact that I always find him scummy and I'm always wrong. Actually, everyone always finds him scummy. :)

Hi MBL, it's true though.
i'm hesitant to vote for him, though. here's why:
-pooky was the serial lyncher, obviously. i'm pretty confident that atticus was his lynch target (assuming that's what the serial lyncher IS) does mith really put the lynch target on a mafioso? usually, lyncher targets are pro-town individuals, and because of that, i don't want to attack atticus.
I think this is problematic. If pooky was a SERIAL lyncher, it would make sense, then in my mind, for him to have to lynch everyone, eventually. Isn't that how a combination of serial killer and lyncher makes most sense? In this case, I don't see how he is any more likely to have a town target than a scum target.

My guess is that it was something like a successful lynch earned him a serial kill. Which would be a rough role, admittedly. But it sounds like a combination of the two roles.

well, NOW we finally get some discussion going... i've pretty much got my internet back, although i'm hitting rough spots every now & again...

@Atticus

yes, but there were also other things that attracted my attention more (main one being work)

i still plan on getting back to you about your wishy-washiness from yesterday...

@MrBuddyLee

i RUSHED to kill PookyTheMagicalBear?... it's not like i came into the game & w/in 24 hours he was lynched... i was perusing the thread (which takes some time, being 30some pages at that time), and waiting for discussion, but i don't remember you saying a lot at that time... i'll go back & check, but it was mainly Atticus, Anonymities, w/ a little Dirge & Fritzler sprinkled in...

@Thestatusquo

people find you suspicious?!? how could that be?

I just reread the thread, I think the vote count's wrong, and
unvote
. Something's not right here.

First, LyingBrian's had
three
votes on him for several weeks now and no one's noticed. Surely at least one scum noticed and was waiting for someone to place the "third" vote on him before pointing out the lynch. This makes me think LB may not be scum after all, because if he was, surely he or a partner would have pointed this out by now. Whatever he is, he's lazy not to be keeping track of his own votes... unless he's another jester.

Second, Dirge has expressed loose suspicions but not voted, TSQ hasn't said jack, Atticus has commented but not voted, Quag has briefly commented but not voted, and we're a day from deadline. It appears scum is trying to coast away with an easy lynch here and at least one townie is letting them.

Also, the lack of love this thread's getting has me wondering if there's a cult. This kind of indifference is usually followed by mindless zombies clawing at the screen door on my front porch. Or it could just be a bunch of lazy town and lurking scum, I dunno.

mod, request deadline extension please

vote: Atticus

Nothing you've done today can be remotely construed as pro-town. You've been defensive and... nothing. And now at deadline you post a wiseacre comment unrelated to the guilt or innocence of anyone in the game. No vote, no useful comments.

If you're not scum, prove it. You have 24 hours or so, and of course you can always request an extension.

Sorry, I already asked for an extension.

I was saying that you need to by using a PM, the way mith specified.

You jsut asking for one in thread seems to be in hope of making yourself look like you're trying to extend the day, but hoping it won't because he specified to use a PM. That's all.

I'm not scum. I'm a Point Whore. The person that had to get more points than me for me to get an investigation, was Thesp.

Seems too perfect? It does, the whole game, I had more points than Thesp, so I never got an investigation. So it's a perfect claim for scum, I don't have to tell you what I got for an investigation. Because I didn't get one.

I can't prove I'm not scum. A vanilla townie can't prove they're not scum, because that's what I am now.

And LyingBrian, you did rush to kill Pooky. AFTER you became boss, Pooky never got to post, and few people, if anyone?, posted their thoughts on who you should lynch.
