MrBuddyLee wrote:So you're saying it's not anti-town to not be voting at this juncture?

That's absurd, and no town-aligned person would find these non-voters unsuspicious.

I swear, are all of you are scum? If you're town please raise your hand. And vote. Thanks.

No, I voted for you, there. I didn't notice the unvote that happened later.

Sorry I've been away.

Did I read correctly? Were we at three votes and no one is suspicious of those who were voting? What's up with that?
MrBuddyLee wrote:dirge: olio/mbl's argument against LB is poor, suspicions of Atticus unfounded.
no vote
.
Good post but, I don't think that I needed to vote based on what I said. Besides no one has really answered that question.

Looking back over the start of today I'd say that LB and olio's vote are conspicuous early and close to each other. FOS LB and olio.

Dirge, now that you're here, I would appreciate if you did more than just FOS two people. Who is your top suspect, why, and vote then for petes sakes.

Lying brian, why do you ignore the entirety of MBLs rather insightful summary, and only focus on attacking olio. As a pro town player, I would have expected you to at least comment on probably one of the most important posts of the day, thusfar. Since you completely ignored it, and only focused on self preservation, I must say it counts
as a heavy point against you.

You're also voting atticus, still. Is there any particular reason, or have you forgotten? You don't mention him at all in your following posts. Your actions here do not seem like a pro town player who is trying to get their top choice as the one lynched at deadline, instead you seem to me like a player who is merely trying to survive the deadline, and one would wonder why, as you're nowhere near being lynched.
I think I'd probably put you as my top suspect.
Freudian slip? i have no idea what you're talking about... can't believe i'm having to defend myself on this
MrBuddyLee made a comment about 33% of the people having a reason to lie, and to enforce his point, said they got paid...
MrBuddyLee from Post #1044 wrote:And this is a game where 33% of the players are paid to lie, lol.
in response to that, i made a funny, saying that if people got paid, i have never received a payment...

as far as ignoring MrBuddyLee's "insightful summary", he has an opinion, and just b/c he states it doesn't mean i need to comment... if there's a specific part that you want me to address, point it out, and i'll be more than happy to address it if i feel it's necessary...

and how am i attacking olio? i am defending myself against his accusations that i RUSHED PookyTheMagicalBear's lynch...

next, i'm not voting atticus, i'm voting MeMe... and i'm trying to figure out the game, wondering why i can vote for a player already removed from the game... and if i was just trying to survive the deadline, don't you think i would stay as inconspicuous as possible?.. again, i'm trying to help the town by figuring out the game...

1) The freudian slip was a trap I threw into the post that you fell right into. It's known as a deliberately weak argument. The purpose of it is to see if you would actually respond substantively to the arguments I presented against you, or would you go for the easy, slam dunk argument which you would certainly win (No one really votes on freudian slips too often.) You respond to my other two arguments dismissively, and instead you spent a significant portion of your posts explaining your joke, and trying to belittle my entire post by referencing it.

1) You ignore my argument about why I feel you not responding to mbl's summary is scummy.

2) YOu ignore my analysis about how you are just trying to survive the deadline.

and you attack an insignificant thing like me mentioning a freudian slip...

Also, you voting for meme is immaterial, because this close to a lynch, it is just a hindrance as it muddies the waters when we are trying to get a lynch at the end of the day.

MrBuddyLee wrote: Olio, what do you think of people's failure to weigh in here? Do you agree scum is more likely to be waiting this one out, playing conservative hoping not to draw attention by speaking out or placing a key vote? Why haven't you expressed concern about the lack of votes at deadline? How would you differentiate the three non-voters?
I think that the Sunday's deadline got way more discussion out of people than the earlier deadline, thanks to you and Atticus. I agree that scum probably has been waiting for no-lynch. I've been busy at work and I think you and Atticus did good work waking people up.

From the non-voters I find Dirge most scummy, the Quag and then Atticus. I think Dirge should be lynched tomorrow. Quagmires buddying up with me doesn't quite rise him to Dirge's level. Compared to those two, Atticus is way down in the scum-o-meter.

One more vote to lynch LB. Come on.

@Thestatusquo

a trap, right... and i suppose you saying that i was voting for atticus was a trap, too, right? i devoted 3 lines of text to that, 1 line of which i was being sarcastic...

i did address your argument about my ignoring MrBuddyLee's post(s), or perhaps you didn't notice b/c YOU were focusing too much on the Freudian slip...

interesting that you didn't comment on my Dirge comment, so if i ignore MrBuddyLee's post, and you ignore mine, then if i am scummy, then you must be scummy too...

keep spinning, scum!

Scene 15 - July 29, 8:59 AM

"Happy birthday to me,
Happy birthday to me,
Happy birthday, dear meeeeee...
Happy birthday to me!"

The sleepy MeMeMeeters (the MetMeMes?) groan, and someone throws a pillow at the Mod.

"Well excuuuuuse me, princess. Oh, there's two more dead bodies, by the way.

The five remaining MetMeMes all jerk their heads up, a little more alert this time.

"Ah, that's more like it. Now get to lynching each other."

****

MrBuddyLee, playing Yoko Kurama (Jimmy Hoffa, Zombie) and olio, playing Sugar (Blank Green Card) are dead. It is Day 7, 3 to lynch.

Game 10: Rock, Paper, Scissors Ultimate Tournament of Champions Throwdown

Ah, point whoring at its finest.

This game will be played as a simultaneous round robin, which everyone facing everyone else.

Each player will submit a list of five choices per opponent. The deadline for submission is 120 hours from this post. For example, player "A" might send:

B: RPRRS
C: PRPPS
D: SSRPR
E: SRSSP

Each list will be compared to the corresponding opponent's list and treated as a best of five match (Rock beats Scissors, Scissors beats Paper, Paper beats Rock). So, if player "B" sent:

A: PRRSS

The result would be 2-1 in favor of A, with two ties.

MeMeMeet Points

Each player will receive a half point for each throw won.
The winner of each match will receive 5 points. If there is a tie, each player in the tie will receive 2 points.
The overall winner (by best match winning percentage, ties broken by head-to-head and then best throw winning percentage) will receive an additional 5 points.

Important!

This is the final game for MeMeMeet Points. Once this game and Game 5 are completed, the results will be final. Choose wisely!
