Open up the player slots to, say, 8 or 9, and make it like a normal poker game. However, every player will only be able to play up to a certain number of hands before giving up their seat. The blinds will be higher than normal (and might change depending on how much money each person has). I'm thinking possibly 10% of average, rounded to nearest hundred.

As for how one is able to join, it would be based on how many points you have from this game. If it's your first time, you'll get $1k (which will change depending on what the other players have. Example: 5 players have ~$3k each. The 6th player will get $3k instead of $1k. It will be rounded to the nearest 250). If you have played before, you can put in as many or as little points as you want. Each point would give you $250, which is the scoring system. (This

change to a different system if people get a lot of points)

This is awesome.

Suggestion: make it 7-8 players, if we get more players in the queue (as in a longer queue) then make hand limits for each person, otherwise just make it on each elimination that we switch

P-Edit: yeah but it's normal for people to come in with less chips then their opponents, and it can work well in their favor.

It'd be based off of the average of the other players. An example to better explain this:
5 players are currently playing.
Player 1 has $3750, Player 2 has $1500, Player 3 has $5000, Player 4 has $2750 and Player 5 has $3250. Player 6 joins in with $3250. Granted, this is a bit lower than most people, but it's the average amount compared to the other players.

Yes, this is intentional. The reason for this is because the people that have the blinds are not supposed to bet first (unless there are two-three players remaining, then it starts with the dealer on the pre-flop). After that, the person that is to the left of the dealer (next in the player list for forum games) starts the betting.

I don't think the blinds have anything really to do with it, but maybe I am doing it because I already have money invested.

Found what my problem was: Hands 2 and 3 were calculated wrong. DiplomatDC's max total is actually $1695, not $1690. He started this hand with $1685 and has $1630 now; Orcinus_theoriginal has $780, not $785; Cheery Dog started this hand with $825 and has $770 now; MonkeyMan576 started this hand with $710 and has $700 now. Updating the OP for more accuracy purposes.
