Running from gypsies is ten times better when drunk.
Still, let's see here.
The hospital is good as a base if we have people here with medical skills; it'd be nice knowing we can heal while fighting if things come to that. Hospitals are usually pretty study, too, so we'd just need to board up windows and bar doors with whatever heavy equipment we can find. It's also likely that, even if the hospital has been looted or something, we can still find things that would be useful. One problem would be if the gypsies decided to mess with the power generator, so hopefully your cell phone batteries are still good. (Wait, how modern is this town?)
As xofelf said, the kitchen is probably looted by now, so there won't be any food left. The furniture would probably still be there, but then we'd be cooping ourselves up in a building that probably has no food and no good weapons. No alcohol, either, so we'd be turning intozombiesgypsiessober.
The bar is... meh? We can use the alcohol and make a wall of fire, which would buy some time. The upside here would be that we can get things here that would give us firepower, and, hey, what's more fun than throwing firey cocktails at mobs of hungry gypsies? Also, once we've looted the place, we can leave behind enough alcohol to get a bunch of the gypsies drunk, and that'd be less gypsies chasing us.
Yeah, okay, so kitchen's out. Any cons you guys can think of for either the hospital or the bar?- Equinox

Yeah, we'd probably be surrounded fairly quickly in a bar. It'd probably be possible to get away eventually, but we'd lose people that way.In post 81, TheIrishPope wrote:Bar cons: little protection, I guess. Also, someone can get really drunk and die.
Hospital cons: everyone can go different ways and get lost.
The hospital will have a lot of different ways to get in, though. Hmm.- Equinox

Now would be a good time to start using the famous phrase, "I have what it takes to..."
Seriously, though, xofelf has outlined some good criteria there, though I'll probably be thinking about which of experience, fairness, and good judgment to weigh the most. I'm not familiar with who has experience in Mish Mash, so campaign away.- Equinox
