Rules
(stolen from equinox)

All rules listed in the Boilerplate Game Rules (rev. May 14, 2013) page apply to this game except where contradicted in the additional rules below:
  1. Do not use
    #8000BF
    . All other formatting is fair game.
  2. Days will have a deadline of two weeks, and Nights will last 48 hours. Deadline extensions will be granted only in extreme circumstances.
  3. Prods will be issued to players if they have not posted within a 48-hour period. Players who have been prodded have 48 hours to respond in the game thread before a replacement is sought. Saturday and Sunday will be considered a 24-hour period for purposes of activity.
  4. Lynches occur through simple majority (50% of living players + 1, rounded down). If no majority is reached at deadline or there is a majority of votes for No Lynch, the Day will end without a lynch. Once majority is reached, no further votes or unvotes will count.
  5. Be civil. No insults, remember this is a game. Have fun.
  6. All players, including the lynched player, are allowed to talk in twilight phase until the thread is locked, at which point Day ends. Dead players may not post until the game has been officially declared over; no "Bah!" posts.
  7. Actions not received by deadline will be considered forfeit. Actions may be submitted ahead of time and can be changed as many times as desired; at deadline, the last action that was submitted will be used. Actions may be submitted by any means where I can be contacted.
  8. Flavor is for entertainment purposes only and has no significance in the game.
  9. If I have not responded to an issue in the game after 48 hours, please contact Faraday.

  10. Any situations not covered above will be handled on an individual basis. I reserve the right to add, modify, or remove rules as necessary.

Setup
(stolen from equinox)

The 12-player Stack the Deck setup is a variable open setup consisting of 9 town-aligned players and 3 mafia-aligned players (2 mafia goons and 1 mafia traitor with 1-shot bulletproof).

Two of the following powers are chosen at random for the town:
  • Bodyguard
  • Goon cop
  • Innocent child
  • Roleblocker
  • Tracker
  • Vigilante
The mafia may elect to receive up to 3 of the following role modifications:
  • Change a goon to bulletproof
  • Change a goon to jack-of-all-trades (1-shot ninja and 1-shot strongman)
  • Change a goon to role cop
  • Recruit the traitor as a mafia goon
  • Enable Day talk for the mafia team
For each additional power that the mafia selects, the town will receive an additional power chosen at random.

Please note the following:
  1. No player will receive more than one role modification.
  2. The mafia traitor is ineligible for any role modifications
    unless
    the mafia team recruits their traitor as a third goon, at which point the new goon may receive role modifications.
  3. All modifications to roles are distributed at the conclusion of Night 0, including the two initial town power roles. Distribution of all role modifications is random.
  4. If both goons (or modified versions thereof) die and the traitor was not recruited, the traitor will gain the factional Night kill ability.
At the beginning of Night 0, all players will receive vanilla role PMs (except the traitor, who will receive a traitor PM). All of the possible initial PMs are listed in the spoiler below.

Here's what's going to happen:

Two town power roles and their recipients have already been assigned. However, they will not be distributed until the mafia have made their selection.
The first round of role PMs are out. Only 3 types of role PMs should be out there: town vanilla, mafia goon, and mafia 1-shot bulletproof traitor. Please follow the instructions in your PM to confirm; there will be no exceptions. Confirmations are due by the end of Night 0.
The mafia will have until the end of Night 0 to submit their choices.
Since this is effectively a Night phase, any replacements that occur during this period will incur deadline extensions.
Night 0 begins now. The deadline is Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at 12:00 AM EDT (UTC-4), which is in (expired on 2013-08-06 23:59:59).

Hello innocent child who isn't me, also I didn't think scum were going to pick innocent child, since it can give a clear, but I guess it's only for day 1; so I think it's safe to say that bodyguard isn't the other PR.

Also, I don't RVS as it is next to pointless.
