I don't think kilmenator is scummy. Generally, I've seen most replacements post some kind of summary to make it easier for them to backtrack. Then again, I don't think RC is scummy for accusing kilmen, because it's true that scum might post fluff, and RC might have read that post as fluff (I don't think it is.)

I jumped on the bandwagon to 1. get the discussion going, and 2. i really didnt like the reasons that he was trying to use. so, i hope that you realize that it was all in good intent, and that i am not ready for a lynch on anyone yet, because the longer the day one, the better chance we have of a scum slipping up and we being able to take them out.

For the record, I don't think RC is scum. Weird play, yes, but not scum. To use 2 really bad arguments to explain why: 1) WIFOMing, I can't see scum drawing this much attention to themselves early game. 2) Meta-game RC. There's a reason why his title is spammah hammah.

But I'm mainly going on gut.

He made a long post basically accusing RC of having no substance. Then when al4 was looking bad, he made a post about al4 looking scummy.

Same with al4xz, he has had a total of like 4 posts or so, adding nothing to conversation, one saying that he didnt care if Rosso was scum or not because he wasnt playing pro-town (which I agree with him on). Yet he never even voted, all game he hasnt voted.

al4xz: all his opinions-about-everyone posts have very little reasoning

I see a contradiction here:

kil: says al4 hasn't added anything to conversation.

Saying al4 has posted something implies that he has added something to conversation.

Also, as opposed to going after someone who hasn't voted, I'd rather go after a wagoner.

I've seen scum try to lurk and pass it off as playstyle before. And before anyone calls me out on hypocrisy, RC has a longer playing record than ac1983, so I don't feel confident about meta-gaming ac1873.

If this matters, I'm in another game with ac1983fan where he played exactly the same way. However, since that's on-going, I have no way of knowing whether he's town or scum.

As such, I'm leaving my vote on, because I don't think ac1983 can be meta-gamed accurately yet.

I'm going to relook at RC. Not for his playstyle that always looks scumy, but specifically for what he did to kilem. At this point though, I'm still leaning towards not scummy.

Yet again as SV the defender, I too thought that majority at deadline = lynch, probably because they occur in most games I've been in. However, I will be looking at JD's posts just in case.

If I've gotten this right: your case on JD is 1) him giving RC excuses and 2) Saving ac1983fan by requesting no deadline.

1) I'm also guilty of doing that.
2) I also made the same mistake of messing up deadline rules. Also, I don't think scum would be this obvious in trying to save a scum-buddy. I've played with JD before, and I've seen his 'sophisticated' side.

Based purely on brewski's breadcrumbing, I believe that RC is scum.

I do not believe that brewski investigated an innocent. Since he had breadcrumbed his role, most likely he also breadcrumbed who he investigated. There isn't a clear vibe from his posts on who he thought was innocent. However, there was definitely a Rosso is scum breadcrumb.

Whether or not kil is scummy depends on whether she knows RC's playstyle. I'm leaning towards kil being not scummy. This makes sense, because RC's play is always scummy-looking, but consistent. So if she hasn't meta'd him before, her analysis would be genuine.

Newbie scum on the wagon aka earwig and ac1983fan. I need to go read up on this one, but I've seen bad play from ac1983fan all site, be it quick-lynching, bandwagoning etc (more-or-less like meta-gaming Rosso, ac is very consistent).

TCS is saying that he thinks RC is not scummy because both scum were on the wagon, given the manner and time they voted for him etc. I have taken a look, and I agree that RC is probably a townie. I tried to detect bussing, and couldn't find evidence.

I'm going to guess at what Skruffs is saying.
- TCS and JDodge are defending RC.
- If RC turns out scum, Skruffs is going to blame them.

I'm going to take issue with that. Skruffs, if you buy their arguments that RC is not scum, the responsibility for RC if he turns out scum should also be shared by you, and now me. I don't like people who don't want to accept responsibility. If you disagree, you should speak up, and if you agree, you share the blame if we're all wrong.

Anyway, IH has been around. (I'm sure Skruffs knows anime mafia.) He's missing in one other game I'm in, but he's definitely been in more than one.)

Question for anyone who still reads this game : How experienced/smart/savvy are 1983 and earwig in regards to being scum? What would they be capable of? If they are just following the leader, than it makes sense that they would be wagoning behind someone, and if that's the case, IH needs to be examined, because he hopped off Rosso later on, after they hopped on. (I believe, this could be wrong, I need to check it out)

I have no idea about Earwig, but I don't have a high opinion of ac1983fan, whether as scum or as town. Reference: mini 424 (unfinished), read his posts in isolation, some game with CTD and MoS in it (I think M61), also unfinished, but ac-scum has been lynched.)
