Full disclosure: I played competitive TF2 for nigh on three years before moving to DotA.
Valve is actually the shittiest developer when it comes to community building, they're schizophrenic, uncooperative liars. The writing was there on the walls on the updates since, well, Silencer+Bara were added. At this point, I'm kinda over them, but the people who complain about people complaining to Valve are idiots.

I understand about players issue in dota..its just frustrating.. everybody complaints for everything, its not just in game..its also in trades.. its so much babbling... sometimes i feel like quitting it... I could save lot of time in daily schedule if i quit dota..

The main problem with bloodstone is that it costs 5k+, while not offering as much as what other items give.
Only heroes I get on are timbersaw and DP (don't get if you can't get under 20).

One about rikki. In pubs he is ridiculously easy to win with. I know because I just played my first game with him. And broke all my GPM XPM Kill and K/D records. If they doesn't buy wards or gem it's over.
Two about Distruptor. Freaking Force staff is what you want. I don't even upgrade my boots before I get force staff. it's just so perfect on him.

You really need mana boots, but yes, force is an awesome item on him.
As for riki... the key is controlling him in laning stage. He is weak vs lanes of equal or greater numbers. If he gets a good first 10mins, game is then hard for other team until they buy gem.
