Because I like you guys, here's a good deal.

Walmart is selling the 3DSXL Bundle for A Link Between Worlds for 200 dollars on the 22nd and 23rd (or 23rd and 24th--too lazy to check)

But as usual, don't go to Walmart to get it.

That's the 3DS. XL is priced at Gamestop right now for 200. Games are usually 30-40, so you're getting the XL at base price with a new game.

Black Friday deals at 149, and that's Canada
You're correct, I didn't realize this, but there's still a bit of a problem.

The base game is 40 so if you get both, which to be fair is certainly plausible but is a risk, you're saving 10 dollars rather than going in on Black Friday.

I'll take the pre-Black Friday deal any day.

I wish you could play this game, now that I've beaten it. This is by far the best Zelda so far. The characters actually have subtle depth (it's no Final Fantasy) and there's a real driving story. The music is top notch, again by far the best. My opinion should not really matter since I'm a huge Nintendo fan but that's coming from someone who finds Skyward Sword "eh" and Twilight Princess to be the worst 3D Zelda game.

If you like Nintendo games (read: Super Mario 3D World, Smash, Pikmin 3[this isn't a system seller though], Zelda (Wind Waker or waiting for the Wii U title), Metroid and FE (since SMTxFE is somewhat still real?) then you should buy a Wii U.

Anything else? No, not really.

No, buy now on PC. It's 20 dollars on Amazon. Ends midnight tonight, presumably.

The DLC is probably watchable.

AC4 is fantastic but just looks like shit if you don't have a high-end PC (due to bad optimization) or a PS4/Xbone (I'm not sure how WiiU looks but I've been told it does actually compare to nextgen)

If you don't care about graphics, then go for 360/PS3 when they get down to 20. There's no reason in a holiday season that you should be paying more than 30 dollars for a game. If the price is that high, you can wait.

That being said, old-me can go fuck itself. The 3DS XL is on sale at Target tomorrow for 150 (170?) dollars. That does include the Zelda which may be 170 but still--that's the lowest.

Disagree. Wait for the Winter Sale. There's just too much DLC to justify the cost of getting the full package now. (This goes with literally any game from that developer...Pandora? Not too sure but you should get the point)

Some people are saying that there's a good assumption that it is a bite due to the fact that the preview for the next episode, if you pick Pete, goes with his "cut off leg and you ok" theory (which we already know is false due to the fact that this is what Lee did and he did not turn out ok) but the key point is that Pete is part of the house and due to the previous rumors, assuming that the next episode (which is named a House divided) is either titled that due to Pete's wound/Nick's actions or due to the Foogler (or whatever its name was) that killed the people near the fishtraps

Pikmin 3 is fun but it's not worth 60 dollars for the time given.

Wind Waker HD is also good but it's not worth 60 dollars if you've played the GC Game. It's an upgrade but it's not significant enough to warrant a 60 dollar pricetag.

It's really confusing and for the most part it doesn't matter.

Go on the Store Page, scroll down to Summer Adventure, and click that.

This will show you the rankings and how Purple is rigged. You want to scroll down to Step 3 and click the box. You will automatically be put into a team. Cross your fingers for Purple!

As the page says:

"Everyone is randomly assigned to a team when they click the "Join a Team" button above or when they craft a badge. Your points count toward your team’s daily total.

Each day the team with the most points wins. 30 members of that team who contributed points that day will win 3 games off their Wishlist. Make sure to update your Wishlist.Anyone who contributed points to that win will get 2 bonus Summer Sale trading cards. Everyone else who contributed points that day will get 1 bonus card.

The points are totaled and a new day begins at 10am PDT."

Spoiler:
It shows that Bigby, even when he thought he had all of the puzzles in the right place, wasn't 100% right. I dislike (and by dislike, I mean that there are some glaring problems with some of the newest choices in these games--don't get me started on how fucking dumb I felt with TWDS2 Episode 4) most of the new Telltale stuff but TWAU did some really nice stuff.

It doesn't add any relevant information. Your choice at the end probably doesn't matter. This is Telltale we're talking about. However, it gives your Bigby's story closure. Will you go after this person who now looks awfully suspicious or will you close the case? There's an awful lot of thinking you'll have to do in those 5 seconds, depending on your playthrough. If you killed the Crooked Man in the warehouse, then I don't think there's that much thinking involved. However, if you brought The Crooked Man to court, the testimony that really convicted The Crooked Man was the one that Nerissa/Faith gave you. So, if she's lying, that means that The Crooked Man was
somewhat
innocent. You as Bigby know that he's guilty. There's no way he can't be. Does Fabletown know that he's guilty? They were pretty swayed by the arguments that The Crooked Man gave.

It's just food to chew on at the end of the game. It's not relevant but it's a nice ending.

I like Ground Zeroes and have played at least 30 hours of it. I understand where you're coming from but if you're just going to take it that the story was the most important part of the game and that nothing else is important, then you should've just watched it on Youtube.

Without going into spoilers, I'm about 20-25 hours in - about half (supposedly) of the main story's quest and I have done a lot of the non-main story but definitely related story side quests. I've taken out about 3-4 guardians(not really a big deal but kind of shows people where I am and my equipment) and done 30-50 shrines. If I went to the end-game, I feel like I could succeed.

Weapon durability is not bad. It is a little bad in the early game just because it's new. Once you're pretty deep in and are able to expand your inventory, it's very easy. I wish there were buttons to quickly drop shields (or throw them) and bows (not really throwing them) but it's OK without these things. Controls can be clunky if you're trying to be very precise with inventory management and such. A lot of it stems from the fact that the Switch's controls are just weird. Not sure if a Pro Controller fixes this but maybe?

Cooking/Elixir building is a great new concept. Really puts an emphasis on preparing for fights before engaging or entering an area. Death Mountain is not traversable without using this mechanic and the game never forces you to go back and look for something that could help with the heat. The game really never tells you anything - null for me but definitely could be a negative for someone else.

Dungeons are few in number, a little challenging and short. Bosses are not as easy as usual - expect to die at least once. There's one that I am sure was c/p right from Nioh because of its bullshit.

Gonna absolutely disagree with the story part because it's probably the most expanded upon Zelda story yet that isn't just "hey Zelda was kidnapped, you never knew her but go save her??" There's one cutscene in particular that is practically Nintendo breaking the fourth wall. At the moment, the biggest problem I have with the story is with one of the enemy factions but I'm not done so this might go away. Voice acting can be great or just outright shit. Zelda is the main offender of the shitty voice acting as well as one of the Zora VAs.

It feels exactly like a Zelda game to me. It reminds me so much of Wind Waker, the feeling of exploration, the feeling of seeing something cool on the horizon and going to it, the feeling of finding something cool around the corner.
I told my friend that this is Wind Waker 2 if sailing was actually fun.
In post 2633, xRECKONERx wrote:how's the switch?
It's a zelda machine - I'm not mad that I spent money on it (I used gift cards I had from the holidays so I can't honestly say I paid 400 dollars for zelda and 1 2 switch) but I think I will enjoy it once more games come out, especially Binding of Issac and those indie games. Was originally going to buy them for PS4/PC but after playing the Switch I would opt to buy games for the Switch rather than the PS4/PC just due to the portability aspect.

If you're someone who's always on the go, this is a great system. If you play games at home and you don't care about moving around, leave this one until it gets a price drop. The battery life is a problem if you don't have a power brick. I personally have never had a power problem.

I agree with hasdgfas - this is the first game (after Wind Waker) that I've wanted to 100%...maybe not the 900 Korok seeds though.

. I love how slick everything is - graphically, the music and the storyline blending. Slowly getting into the proper game which involves social links and stuff so here comes the anxiety about missing stuff and doing stuff wrong but it's just so much fun.
~55 hours here - keep enjoying it and make sure you focus on those social stats, they are harder (i.e. more points needed) than the last two games.

As in guts etc.? You're telling me, I've only got charm and intelligence up so far.
Yup, maxing out knowledge takes around 110 points. It's ridiculous.

If you want to get into the SMT games, it is very advisable that you start with a Persona game - mainly because long runs of SMT can be unbearable at first but I think the Persona charm makes it cool.

Persona 5 is making me really really excited for how the SMT 1 HD remake and SMT 5 will be on the Catherine engine.

The themes in Persona 5 are a step back to the themes found in 1, 2, and 3 (somewhat on the last one). I agree that the execution was sort of wrong in some spots but I enjoyed the change in tone.

Witcher 2 is only good because of the gimmick but I really don't think that makes it good either. Just unique

Majora's Mask is a must play. It's one of the truest unintentional hits.
