Just asking because I was looking around and found a beta key generator, but you have to download it and I don't know if it's genuine or just phishing.

more 12-2 arena goodies. deck was actually not very good for a rogue deck. no deadly poisons, no scrubs, one backstab. Deck turned out to be very very tempo-y.

opened millhouse manastorm for the troubles meaning last three legendaries have been mukla(x2) and millhouse in addition to having opened two king krushes as two of the first three legendaries I opened ever.

crafted rag and ysera and have dust for 1.5 legendaries atm.

I think I'll try to craft cairne and nat pagle(which will almost certainly get nerfed and then full dust value yay!) then probably try to grind some ranked sometime as either druid or priest.

All the cards you guys mentioned are bad, cause that's what arena gave me. I don't remember exactly what the other cards were, but I can tell you they were pretty bad.
For Secretkeeper (first pick) I remember I had to choose between the murloc that gives +2 health to other murlocs as battlecry and the 4/5 giant that can't attack.
I spent 3 minutes thinking what I should pick. I went with secret keeper cause Paladin has secrets and they are cheap and she can be useful sometimes.

I mean coldlight seer is probably the best of the bunch. ancient watch is pretty great with sunfurys and argus'(and silences!) but you cant depend on getting those.

I mean you could take secret keeper but don't build a deck around that pick. just treat it as a garbage 1 drop and don't amplify the problem by taking other shitty picks just because you got forced into making one bad pick.

Mind Control Tech is completely dependent upon letting your opponent get massive board control over you and then hoping you grab something good and not the 1/1.

He's not the worst rare but he's far from one of the best. I can think of like at least 10-20 off the top of my head I'd want over him.

Pagle definitely isn't great now. I have one, I'm debating on DE it for full dust cost, but I don't know what to craft. It's my only neutral legendary. I have Al'Akir and Tirion Fordring.

Although, it looks like Aggro is just strong as fuck right now, so maybe Leeroy or Rag are the right bets of Ysera or Sylvanas?

Ysera is pretty fucking slow and you HAVE to be willing to lose like 70% of games vs rush(though you might not lose 70%). I have it in my 2nd priest deck, which I am using two of Amaz' priest decks atm(I'll need to replace tink in both of them).

Sylvanas isn't really super top tier with the last nerf. Still good just other cards better.

It really depends on what style you want to play. If you want aggro grab Leeroy. If you want control go Cairne/Rag/Ysera/Thalnos in any order(after Cairne imo.)

It kind of sucks you have two class legendaries(two of my first three opened legendaries were KING KRUSH ROAR), since you can only run them with that class, and is why I haven't been laddering with Druid(the few games a day I do ladder.)

How is it consistently, Peg? I'm working on a budget deck (this one, specifically. I'm one the one epic short right now), but that's the eventual deck I'd like to start playing once I get the bajillion dusts I'll need with my luck.

It's pretty consistent really. There are games where you randomly burst for like a million turns 7-10, and if your draw is pretty shit then the individual card power is still pretty good. Of course if you draw mega shitty then nothing in the world can really help. i.e. if only I had drawn a swipe one of the 10 turns I could instantly win the game with a swipe, but that happens in all decks.

There's no one thing the deck is focused on.

Sunwalker is actually a super good card. If you don't have much but have that it's fantastic.

Not knowing what you have cardwise makes it difficult to criticize beyond the deck not having any focus.

how does mana wraith in any form reck ramp druid?

it seems you have to be really lucky to draw it at the exact perfect time, hidden behind taunts or something AND you have to hope the druid doesnt draw any wild growths/innervates.

Like if theyre at 8 mana and youre at 6 mana wrath doesn't actually do anything. the only 8+ minion generally in ramp decks is cenarius, maybe rag in some versions??

like worst(best???) case is druid takes 4 damage from it by attacking it two turns.

you need to draw your one mana wraith early on.(which you can wrath, take four dmg from it attacking it twice and having it attack you once.)

you need to hope they dont draw wild growths or innervates.

it simply doesnt wreck any part of ramp druid.

so ive been collecting gold for gvg shit to come out and today they arrived in the Arena.

everyone gets a free arena with the new gvg cards so that was cool.

I went 5-3 with a shit Paladin deck then 5-3 with a decent Priest deck and 2-3 with a shit rogue deck. Then warlock gets a try. I havent arena'd as warlock in at least three months cause I just don't know wtf to do. Holy shit some of the gvg additions were fun to play as warlock. I didn't get to experience all the class cards with it, but shit man it felt so easy. Breezed to 11-1 before dropping two straight games to topdeck flamestrike, a Priests Enhanc-o Mechano which promptly gave his two biggest creatures on the board taunt, followed by a mind control top deck.


And how could I forget a game I won after I had this happen to me:

oh and I had a random 1 in 24 occurrence happen during this run also. weird ass shit.

Let’s assume for a moment that a card existed in Hearthstone that read “2 mana: 90% chance win the game, 10% chance do nothing”. I think we’d unanimously agree that such a card would be overpowered. Now imagine a card that said “1% chance win the game, 99% chance do nothing”. We can agree that such a card would suck. That means that somewhere between 1% and 90% we have a balanced card. I think that number is somewhere around 15%. Unstable portal has about an 85% chance to hit a minion that costs 2 or more. 70% for 3 or more. In the event that you play unstable portal on turn two and get a minion costing 6+ (about a 20% chance), you will probably win the game on the spot. All you invested was one card and your second turn to have a boulderfist ogre in play on turn 3.

Will you get Grimscale oracle sometimes? Sure, but even in that scenario all you did was play a 2 mana 1/1. The vast majority of the time you’ll be breaking even or netting a huge tempo swing akin to Innervate or Wild Growth. Is it worse off the top of the deck later in the game? Sure, but still much better than Wild Growth would have been and still capable of rolling a 6 mana Onyxia. Unstable Portal will warp half of the games it’s played in around itself, and the extremely high chance for a free win makes it an auto-include in any mage deck. Hold on to your extra Portals so you can disenchant them for full dust once the nerf bat strikes. However, of all the cards on this list, Unstable Portal is the one I’m least sure about. The variance involved may very well make it unplayable. Only one way to find out, get out there and play!

my biggest issue with heartharena is how they try to place in you a specific archetype after your first few picks. If they had some sort of way to let the user decide how THEY *wanted* to play, and adjust their ratings as such, that would be lovely. CLASSIC AGGRO PRIEST IS HAPPENING GUYS TOTALLY NORMAL AND WORKABLE YEAH.

Honestly I gave up on the site when I had ONE flamestrike, and they told me not to take a second when the other options were just average. Just for that I picked flamestrike that pick AND the next pick.
