Of course it was survivalistic, the way you're putting it. You said yourself, that the chances of you voting Rascal were minimal because you had your own obvscum to pursue. I felt the same way. I only switched to Orion at one point because I was starting to read you as town but then I misinterpreted your joke post thing (or NS's joke post thing whatever).

The thing you told me to rephrase: here's the situation.

- Orion makes "scumslip."
- We call him out on it, sure. But ETL tries to cover it up.

- NS makes "joke."
- Orion and I call you out on it. You simply tell us that NS doesn't know what he's talking about.

This is the similar situation I was talking about: two scumslip type statements, two cover-ups/excuses. I chose your slip initially because I didn't interpret NS's statement as a joke.

If you would've gone on to call it a joke without killing yourself, I would've unvoted and tried to think everything through again. But you haven't given me the chance. So I'm probably going to lose this game for town because I can't take a joke.
