I think it should probably be "You must play to win at the end of the game", because that would make it a bad role on more levels

It could work just the way you wrote it at first.
When scum votes for him he won't accuse scum.
The moment he becomes town he tells everyone X is scum.
Then when scum votes him again he says X is not scum and he was just mistaken.

Would make for a very weird game seeing someone go from : "X is confirmed scum. My role guarantees it." to "X isn't scum. I mis-read something." a few times a day.

Also : Give him a fakeclaim and tell him he can't claim his real role. (this would work only in a bastard game, but the role itself is very bastard)

(disclaimer, I have a pretty strict understanding of what constitutes a bastard role, YMMV on the percentage but I'd say the average player should recognize about half of them as trash)

You may not produce flips or results unless you are PM'd at least twice for each potential action.

Public mechanic:
unlimited lynches may be achieved without your intervention during any phase so long as majority is reached. Night phases must not be locked unless you are angry for reasons outside the game, in which case the thread must be locked and may not be unlocked without every living player PMing you within a ten minute period. For every six hours that both of these conditions hold true, the second-largest wagon is lynched and the current phase continues as usual.

I actually had that role. Let me dig it up.
You are Captain Planet, leader of the Planeteers. By combining their five powers, you are summoned to save the world! If you can get five people to each say a different word on this list ("Earth", "Fire", "Wind", "Water", "Heart"), you will become a tree stump upon death, able to continue posting for the entirety of the game, regardless of anything the mod says publicly. However, if the five people who summoned you die, you will lose your powers and give the mafia an extra kill the next night.

That's interesting without the modnote. Using the ability will mean that you get townies dying faster, but runs the risk of dying yourself. You can always get an SK you created yourself lynched if necessary (you might have to fake a guilty, such as via "tracking them to a kill"), so you can get rid of them again when the ability's run out. I wouldn't suggest using that night action often, but once or (at a stretch) twice might make sense.

If your target gets a kill they night they convert, target someone N1 so there are multiple deaths right off the bat, and that opens the possibilities for multiple fakeclaims.

If they don't, I'd still consider targeting someone the first night and not submitting a Mafia kill, depending on the size of the game. to create more confusion.

Oh, I was assuming that your scumteam didn't have a kill of its own, and could only kill via recruiting SKs for the purpose. Not sure why I was assuming that, but it probably makes the role more interesting.

Would only work in a closed game, though.
