Have your shot at winning up to $500,000 by matching 12 strangers one-by-one to phrases about their identities!
Setup
Before the start of each game, the strangers will submit an identity that associates them. These identities can be anything such as hobbies, current/previous jobs, interesting things you did in the past/things you want to do in the future, etc.
Rules
The contestant chooses an identity and tries to match it to the correct stranger. If you are correct, your winnings are increased.

If you correctly guess 8 strangers identities, you are guaranteed to leave with $75,000. However, whatever lifelines you have left are revoked.
Lifelines
The contestant is also given four lifelines:

Tri-dentity
: The contestant chooses an identity and the number of strangers to choose from is narrowed down to three: the correct stranger and two incorrect strangers. The player must choose the correct stranger out of the three that matches the identity. Once the player has chosen to use their Tri-dentity, he or she must solve that identity (or stop and take his or her winnings, or use the Double Dip); they cannot choose a different identity. The Tri-dentity help is revoked, if not used, once only four strangers remain.-
Double Dip
: The contestant can select two strangers for one identity; however, once a contestant elects to use Double Dip, the contestant is forbidden to walk away from his current guess. The contestant must indicate and confirm that they intend to use this lifeline before giving a first guess. If the first guess is incorrect, the contestant gives another guess; but if the second guess is also wrong, then the contestant will lose all winnings (unless they still have their Mistaken Identity). The Double Dip is also revoked, if not used, once only four strangers remain. -
Mistaken Identity
: You get one free pass if you make an incorrect guess. The Mistaken Identity is revoked, if not used, once only four strangers remain. -
Split Identity
: Take the identities and split them up into 2 groups. I will then divide the strangers into 2 groups, and tell you which groups belong together. A group must have a minimum of two people, and they can be uneven in numbers. If you use Tri-dentity after using this lifeline, the number of strangers to choose from is narrowed down to three from that group only. The Split Identity help is revoked, if not used, once only four strangers remain, and the groups will merge as one.The contestant can leave the game with the money already won at any time. However, if the contestant guesses incorrect, then the contestant wins either nothing or $75,000 depending on how many matches they correctly made.
Other Rules
- To make an official guess, say:
I think gamsimbre is the trumpet player. Is that your identity?
Either the selected player or the host can post whether the contestant is correct or not.- Contestants will have no formal deadlines for answering. However, if 48 hours have gone by with no activity, the host will prod the contestant.
- Player are allowed to both /in as a contestant and stranger.
- If there are more than 12 strangers, they will placed on a rotating queue (so once you become a stranger, you are automatically placed on the bottom of the queue). If you don't want to be a stranger anymore, you can /out.
- Players may play as many times as they like, and anyone is welcome to get back in the queue if they're not currently playing as one.
- Any players that /in as a contestant are assumed to be a stranger while they wait on the queue. This is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged. Please specifically request via PM or in the thread if you have no intention to be a stranger.
