Making a note for those that didn't see, the game thread got created and promptly moved to Frogstar World B for being the second thread created for one game.

Is this one going to be used once the game starts? Because if not, it would probably be a better idea to move this one to Frogstar and have the main thread in the Main Mash forum.

Well I lost years of experience, because apparently I'm kind of young. Who let a kid into this dreary place anyway?

For some reason, I was kind of expecting to have all the information about my character right off of the start. Like, reason for coming to the mansion, if I knew anyone else that was here, or at the very least a name, so we could start trying to figure some stuff out before deciding on actions for this round, but apparently that's not going to happen.

I think I'm just going to go to the arcade and play some video games. Depending on how meta Samael is going, there's a chance that I'll find "Haunted Mansion: Desert Night - Arcade Edition". That might be a good way to get some info quickly. Otherwise I get to play arcade games. Win-win really.

Okay, I lied, I decided playing video games wasn't the best use of my time, so I searched instead. Apparently I decided to take some money out of the machines, because it's going to be so useful here. All that does is make me want to play the games even more even though it probably is just a waste of time.

Caycedo, is there something dangerous in the Prophet's Chamber that we need to be worried about?

WARNING: Tasting random chemicals that you find in a lab is actually a terrible idea and can get you killed. Even if that is how a vast majority of artificial sweeteners ended up being discovered.

Actually, I think we need to be thinking about water most right now, because we'll start getting hurt in two turns or so. Especially if I keep forgetting to drink out of my canteen.

Also, I found a flashlight with no batteries, so if someone knows where I can get some power we could explore some of the darker areas of the mansion. Specifically, I'm thinking of the well, because that's the most likely place to find water. Otherwise, I think that I'm just going to head to the laundry room, because that sounds like the second most likely place.

There's apparently murky water sitting around in here, and there is water of an unknown quality dripping out of pipes in the ceiling. I'm debating whether it's worth risking drinking it or not. Has anyone found water that is definitely safe yet?

Aside from that, all I did was explore, so I haven't actually obtained anything yet. Caycedo, do you have a specific reason for coming here, or should I give you the description of what things there are to search?

I don't have anything like that right now. There is cleaning supplies across the floor of the room, but I doubt that anything that would be used to make clothes clean would actually help make water safer to drink.

Since a possible better way to find water is close by, I don't think just drinking the water here would be a good idea, so I'll try to get all the information I can from this room in the meantime.

The main reason I offered was because we were in the same room. I kind of want to finish exploring here before moving somewhere else since I already explored. I'll try throwing the coins in the fountain next turn if you still want me to.

Nothing interesting here, I just got clothes and bleach. I don't have any weapons, so I don't want to risk going in the crypt, especially because if I do that I'm taking guaranteed damage from thirst anyway. I don't think I have a choice right now other than to stay here and risk drinking the murky water, because no matter how much damage I take it's going to be less than what ignoring the thirst would end up being.

Am I wrong saying that Bleach is toxic, or at the very least wouldn't actually make water safer to drink?

Also,

MOD: Is thirst damage applied at the start of each phase, or just at the start of day phase?

I don't actually know if I succeeded in drinking the water in the laundry room last day phase because my Use: Water command was too similar to everyone else drinking the water in their canteens.

What I do know is that I examined the pile of dirty clothes, and something attacked me. Now I have a bloody handprint on my arm, which apparently is a status effect. I'm not sure what it does yet though.

Anyway, I think I'm going to throw the change in the fountain tonight unless someone has a better idea.

to get a drink of water first, as well as cleaning out the last thing in the area that I could think to search, though apparently I only actually succeeded in one of the goals.

Aside from that, I think throwing coins in the magic fountain is more likely to get a reaction than some dried up well.

Throwing the coins in the fountain literally did nothing. Now I need to stay here for another turn in order to drink some water. What else is there to do in this room that hasn't been done yet? I don't think retrieving the coins would do any good, and something tells me that that a basic search would get me absolutely nothing because of how many people have been in here already.

And RP, how have you avoided taking thirst damage so far? If it's something you did, that could really help out the rest of us.

Anyway, literally nothing special happened when I drank from the fountain other than the 1 damage. Also, I touched a pillar, and it didn't appreciate it. It sounds as if there's glowing bugs living inside of them that turn red when they get angry.

I did not get any mission of the sort, and when I threw the coins in nothing spectacular happened at all. I was told that "something" was off about the water and that I took one damage, but that's all I got.

Also forgot to mention: I have no clue what to do from here now. If Aronis can't be helped, is there anywhere that needs to be more thoroughly checked that doesn't require having a light or a weapon of some sort? I think I might go to the music room, waste one turn, and then attempt to destroy the source of the music so it can actually be thoroughly explored. Has everywhere else been searched?

EDIT: Yeah that seems like a decent idea for the time being. Just moving there now so I don't forget to do an action this phase. If someone has a better idea let me know.

It would still be nice to have multiple people working on solving the Circle Room though, especially if everywhere is has been exhausted.

Anyway, something about it tells me that this isn't a neverending cycle of doing nothing. For now, I want to try to stay and try to figure this out.

I think all I have this point are some clean clothes and an empty flashlight. I used to have coins, but I may have thrown all of them in the fountain. I don't see how any of this is going to be useful.
