I felt coordinating a lot in daytalk would have been too obvious or our comments might start feeling even more manufactured - but if the mafia were both veterans that could circumvent those issues, I could see that coordination being very powerful.

daytalk is super duper powerful

more information for the informed minority, it gets down to the basic premise of the game

but no this wasn't inherently scumsided (it just should have been advertised as an open setup instead of a mini normal)

But in the approved Open version, the scum don't have daychat. Wake wouldn't have been able to run this in the Open Queue.

I normally do not coordinate as closely as we did. I think our bussing really helped, although rofl caught on pretty quickly.

Yeah. Plus I self-hammered and then we NKed rofl, so problem (partially) solved. LOL

I am surprised that more players did not engage in NKA.

All 3 Reviewers refused to consider this game balanced.

Maybe this changes things in the state of Mafia for now?

We just came out of Flavor Caper, and this was considered unbalanced and that wasn't?

What the actual fuck?

I actually enjoyed this variant - the lack of PR's on -both- sides makes it feel so clean.

I'm going to create an insidious variant of this game. A Large one.

Posting a thread in Mafia Discussion looking for co-designers.

For sure Titus and T S O aren't invited to design this game... because I want them to play in it.

yeah but my reasoning for the town read was never just "he replaced out" it was his reason for doing so and timing (didn't expect an open setup, basically a pregame replace)

Omg the reviewers felt this was unbalanced compared to flavor caper (mini 1579). The entire review team needs to look at these two games and get their heads out of the clouds.

Also kinda followed this game because bjc and loot were in it.

I rather enjoyed this game, the balance felt fine to me. Scum was only one lynch away from being on the defensive for the whole game, 11vs2 is harsh enough to offset the dayspeak.

GP dropped the ball at the end but he was biased going into that day, so it was nicely done by scum to leave him alive for it.

Also good job on the modding wake, this one was a bit tough as that breakdown in the middle of the game kinda killed participation.

Sorry for abandoning this game. I'm done with mafiascum.net, serious downtime is a regular thing for this site and this is like the 3rd or 4th game that has been ruined for me because of site instability. I'm sick of it and I'm done.

I played absolutely abhorrently this game and basically only 2 players noticed because of the downtime. I could have just come back in this game and swept it under the rug because scum got such a stupidly huge unfair advantage due to the downtime. It just stopped being fun.

Peace out, all. Maybe you'll see me again someday if I feel like the site will be more stable.

I am flattered...I think.

The scum had the misfortune of Titus being absurdly accurate on day one.Really quite impressed by that.~Drixx
