Not what I expected. We were supposed to trade on the first 4 (1s and 2s) then actually compete with whatever we wanted for the last two. She burned a four and a 2, and I lost 2 3s. Kinda worth it, kinda not. Was hoping she may give me more out of those end cards (she said she may give in and play 1s). Regardless, I'm still gonna play 1,2,3 then 4. feel free to fluctuate as you please, I guess. I see no reason to burn extra cards though.

Alrighty, well as of right now, we are ok. But there seems to be some conflict going on and I may have to take all my high cards to take care of someone who is being a problem child. If I can take care of that, then I will challenge you afterwards. If something changes, I'll let you know.

Indeed. The most important thing is to avoid ties, which benefit neither of us. Your suggestion gets around that nicely.

P.S. I don't think you'd try and cheat me. You seem like a good, honest player. But just in case, I'm going to use at least one card that will be higher than you'll expect, to encourage you to stick to your word.

I will be using one of each, going in order the order 1,2,3,then 4. I feel this is a good deal because you can garauntee yourself 2 or 3 points (if you use your 4) and I can assure myself 1 or at least the elimination of your high cards. Honestly, I'm just looking to come out of this with 2 points if you don't mind. If we go 2 and 2, we both have benefitted in my opinion.

I figure one sapphire is a fair price, since if you win you'll still have two more.

It's easy...IF you're familiar with problems of this sort. My offer is in case he isn't and doesn't figure it out on his own. I wouldn't call it "extremely" easy though.

There is no way to do it definitively in one question, though. See, there are 3 places where the sapphire could be, and a single question can only differentiate between 2 options (represented by yes and no). You need a second question for the 3rd option.
