There are probably some pretty good beginner's guides on ck2wiki - if you let that walk you through a game for a while you'll get a pretty good understanding of the different systems.
So I finally played Walking Dead: 400 Days. #SoBehind Overall I thought it was pretty good; yeah it's of course way different from the season-long story of Season 1 but I like the various glimpses we got into everyone's stories.
Bonnie, Wyatt, and Russell went with Tavia. I've heard strange things about Bonnie in Season 2, but here she was pretty decent. I would've liked to have Shel and Becca but their story was the first I played and the choices actually felt pretty limiting (I didn't really want to kill Stephanie OR drive away) so I'm not too torn up.
I'll probably move on to the Wolf Among Us next, since that is Telltale's next game sequentially.

Anybody familiar with the Long War mod, while we're talking about X-COM? Is it worthwhile?
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.
To honor the final episode of Season 2 coming out today (I think), All three Telltale Walking Dead games (SEason 1, 400 Days, and SEason 2) are on sale! Hooray!

If you really like the combat in X-com then you will really like it. It spaces out story/science progress and stuff for the sake of having more battles. For that reason I didn't really dig it because I prefer the strategic scale stuff.
So The Creatures, a decent YouTube gaming/streaming group based in Colorado, got "swatted" today.
As a huge fan this makes me sick and angry. The Creatures are incredibly nice to their fans and are just all around good people. We need to put a stop to this somehow.

It's definitely on my "pick up eventually" list and I haven't heard a bad thing about it yet, just way too many other games to play
like Layton vs. Wright
which came out today who else was hyped for it? also 2 hour prologue ofc though I was distracted as hell so that could've been it
