I'm in need of a co-admin for Vanilla.

This person would receive OP rights for the purpose of adding people to the whitelist when/if necessary (I'm pretty good about seeing these quickly but if you're already around that's awesome too), helping out with bugs/glitches, refunding oopsies, etc. Preferably it should be someone who spends a lot of time on the Vanilla server and is easy for me and others to reach. Also someone responsible so there's no OP ABOOS.

My minecraft has updated and it says I can't connect to the MS server because it is on 14w33c

What I do is make a new profile and call it "MS snapshots", and then I set it to the current snapshot. Before clicking the Play button (or whatever it is), just choose that profile (rather than "Latest").

(This is ETL btw I'm just too lazy to switch over).

i wandered off from spawn and found another house - it had lots of glass and stuff, a furnace/doublechest/crafting table combo with a mine to the right of the combo. I then walked a bit further and found water next to the mountain, so i've set up a mini (very rushed) base for there so I can get some mats from the cave nearby. IF I'm stepping on someone's toes, pls let me know. The house will not stay in this state for long, just wanted to get somewhere safe set up

That second one is mine. Not too hung up on distance to the neighbors. Forgot the signage.

I decided that I wanted an underground path back to spawn, so dug a tunnel at y=50. Came across the stairs that go down from the forest to a cave. Don't recall whose sign is on the double chest, but I put a sign on the tunnel. Feel free to use the tunnel, I plan to expand it to a 3x3 railway eventually.

Yeah they fixed rabbits in 1.8!! They are no longer Pets and act like the rest of the animals. Once it is updated I'm doing a Rabbit cooker!! haha

To update your launcher, select the profile you're using for the snapshots, and click "Edit Profile".


Select "release 1.8" from the list under "Use version..."


Then click "Save profile"

When you're finished downloading the new stuff, click Play and you're all set!

I had a complete nightmare yesterday. Died repeatedly in the cave near my house, because I am stupid. I then got an almost full set of iron armour, got knocked off a ledge by a skellywog, and fell into lava
