Putting someone a l-1 isn't really scummy thing to do on day 1. A scum mind set would probably want to avoid putting someone at l-1 or maybe even l-2 to avoid suspicion. It is pretty null if you ask me.

I think the purpose of putting someone at L-1 is a way to see how others react, will they try and scum paint you, unvote right away, completely ignore it... And so on

The risk of someone hammering is either a scum tell or bad town play so it isn't something you need to worry about as town play which is so careless that they would lynch someone by accident isn't something you need to take into consideration

But what if scum did it because town would assume scum wouldn't do something so attention-grabbing? Like literally, that happened. Scum put town at L-1 on page one, people quickly unvoted and the L-1'er was basically cleared because "scum wouldn't do that."

You're right, it's not condemning, just something to keep in mind.

Story time: I once played a game where town hammered another town for the lulz on Day 1 without warning. The hammerer made it to endgame and won for us. The end.

Your vote for me is basically for me being inactive. There's a few of us who haven't been very active, you, me, BV and Syne. Do you find them scummy due to the amount of activity?
