So I've been enjoying letsplays lately, they're a real blast. Have any scummers made any and want some more exposure or just another view? I'd like to support you guys.

It's a video that documents the experience of playing the game. It's great for horror games because I don't enjoy playing them but I love watching them and the whole experience. A let's play isn't a review, and is usually an unprepared first playthrough.

I'm doing an X-Com: Enemy Within Let's Play in the MishMash forum now, I'm doing screenshot updates with a little added story+dialogue in addition to just streaming it Wednesdays but the screenshot updates tend to take a while so I'm more than a bit behind >_> (I have a lot more time to actually do them now than in previous weeks though, should be able to get more caught up soon)
also from the demos I played years ago Disciples II seems like a pretty good game if anyone liked Heroes of Might & Magic style gameplay when that was a thing (it basically takes that and changes the big unit stacks into individual levelable units that can attack generally either the a target in the front row of enemy units or any individual unit if they're ranged), and it's less than $2 on steam now for it and two of its expansions- Disciples II: Gallean's Return (there are some issues with windows 64 bit though, you have to run it in 16-bit windowed mode and it'll tend to crash if you alt-tab out, instructions if you want to bother are here http://steamcommunity.com/app/1640/disc ... 563857042/)
i bought Shadow yesterday. And in my first 10 minutes had a gang of like 50 orcs chasing me that included 3 named ones. I died, predictably.
But now im a lot better! it's hecka fun.
As the king of all cosmos remarked "is it really fun? or that it let's you forget yourself?"

So I apparently got a key to the Heroes of the Storm Alpha and never played it. Finally got it installed and started playing tonight. Really enjoying Nova and Kerrigan so far. If anyone has the Alpha and wants to add me, I'm bv310#1740

I don't do Let's Plays, but I do randomly stream when I feel like it/when I have time. It's kind of the same thing, right?

HotS looks like it could replace my get drunk and fuck around mobas (strife, smite, league, etc.) but it just doesn't seem to have that depth required to be able to put thousands of hours in. Looks fun though
