To compare, mine at home is 1.27 Mbps download, .30 Mbps upload.

Starbucks is 56.21 Mbps download, 11.63 Mbps upload

nah just on the server side. i have everything we need on my computer and backed up online. it's just that my internet blows

besides, jingle and sthar wanna build cthulhu or something lol... and if update to 1.7 now, we'll have NO server for like.. a long while. it's ok. I solved a lot of the initial issues tonight, and figured out half of my problems, and the guy is helping me through all of this through my support ticket. I should be able to get everything up and running *smoothly i hope* tomorrow morning. Starbucks opens at 5

If you use mapwriter to keep the large map of all your explored areas, a directory needs to be renamed to bring the data over.
Under the saves directory, look for mapwriter_mp_worlds directory. Inside is a directory with the old server ip and port. Rename this to the new server ip and port.

If you use JourneyMap (pressing J for the big map)

Go to /instances/SP3/minecraft/journeyMap/data/mp and rename the qualitynode folder to "162.223.8.203_0" without the quotes

If you use Zan's for waypoints

Go to /instances/SP3/minecraft/mods/VoxelMods/VoxelMap/ and rename the points file in there to "162.223.8.203~colon~25566" without the quotes

As dav said, VoxelMap (Zan's) is updated to 1.8 and it's a LiteLoader mod.
(Just another way of loading mods - the install instructions are pretty straightforward.)
