I want to run a theme game. It's basically a normal game (with a few Titus infused roles) but there's a catch. It's an alt game. Everyone has to post as if they are an ALT of another player in the game. You'll need thick skin for this. Someone played you horribly? Spot on. Plenty to talk about post game. It'll be one hell of a learning experience. Come with thick skin. Bad idea? Good idea?

Let's say

Adam Brett and Charlie sign up to play. Each player has an alt account. Adam gets a post restriction that he must post as if he's Brett. So on and so forth.

Obviously hydra won't be allowed then. That seems entertaining at least. Especially if you know the people in the game. I think the playerlist would really dictate the game for that setup.

roles (not alliances) are chairs that rotate randomly between living players every Day and every Night,
one is removed from the pool when the player who has it loses his chair

I have been thinking about running Encyclopedia Dramatica Mafia someday and I wonder if this can be ran as a Mini-Theme game.

I don't recall this ever being ran before on this site and if it was, it probably was a long time ago. There's several things I want to do with this game to make it how I would envision an ED Mafia being ran.

One is that I want to push to the limit of what is acceptable on the site. While I obviously won't be planning on posting porn or rape pictures (as these are against site rules), I do plan on making the content as reminisce to ED as possible so I plan on making the flavor at least in the level you can expect from the Speakeasy forum if not higher (if site rules will allow).

Two is that I want to introduce posting restriction in accordance to lulzcows with ED articles. I want to see how it is like for scummers who sign up to have to post like idiots that are made fun of on the Internet while still trying to scum hunt. It would be very interesting indeed.

I was also thinking about creating accounts for players to play under alts specifically designed for this game to reduce if not eliminate meta's influence for the game (I'm also curious about how it would be to not have meta to help determine if a player is town/scum/3rd party). I'm not sure if I want to go through with this though.
1. I don't know if this is legal in Mini-Theme games.
2. pre /ins are only 50% rounded down. I really wanted to design a game where pre /ins made up 100% of the players and players post under alts accounts I (hypothetically) make for the game without revealing their primary usernames. If this was possible, it would be exactly like you've never played with these people before and I'd sure a lot of us would be curious about how it would be like to play with people you have no experience with.

I currently am only in pre-development, so it will take awhile before I /in to mod this game. I expect that I'll be modding this game sometimes in 2015; alt accounts for playing or not.

After replaying Final Fantasy Tactics, I've thought of perhaps doing a Final Fantasy Tactics themed game.
Thinking on that led me to consider this instead:

12 player anonymous game,
Each player is given a hydra named after one of the 12 Zodiac signs.
Each Zodiac sign has unique powers and cool stuff.
Would that work?
Would people be down for that?
