Unofficial Mafiascum Contributors

Post Post #0 (isolation #0) » Fri Mar 06, 2015 8:21 am

You may notice some members have a new color with their name. These are Unofficial Mafiascum Contributors. These users have been providing volunteer service (some for quite a while). These users are UNOFFICIAL. They do not have back room access, they do not speak for the administration, and so forth. Please don't go to them with reportable issues. However, we wanted to recognize these people for putting in a lot of time doing jobs that require frequent work. These people are:

TheButtonmen (Title Fairy)
XReckonerX (Scummies Writing, etc.)
DeasVail (GTKAS)
Zaicon (Replacement Queue)
Cephrir (Large Social Game Coordinator [A Mish Mash thing])

Please note that this is a temporary thing we're trying out for now. Let us know if you like it or if you find it too confusing to have a user with a colored name who isn't an official representative.

Also, yes the color is kind of ugly and may change, but it's hard to find a unique color that won't get confused with another skittle color.

i thought about pink, but i'm worried it's too flashy. It needs to be kind of subdued.

I tried Gray which kind of worked, but also looked REALLY similar to regular users on black and looked like a deactivated account or something on silver.

I can only choose to care about two skins, neither of which is Sepia. But... let me check.

It was intended to be a nice thing to acknowledge a few people for the jobs they are performing. I am not really interested in making the prettiest color, and this obsessive discussion about whether it's pretty or ugly detracts from the overall point without adding anything of worth.

The color is what it is. Start getting used to it or secretly seethe about how some small thing that you occasionally see on a forum isn't aesthetically pleasing, but we've reached the point where it's done.
