While I sort of agree with several of the scumreads floating around, ns is simply not town.

401 makes no sense. Ns is a gentleman, he had no chance of dying pregame. There's also no sense in being "scared" of marquis as town. It's an excuse for not posting in the pt.

In 403, the marquis bit is strange.

And then the self-vote in 455 is ridiculous in a game where you can self-lynch at any moment. Why would you ever self-vote if not as an attempt to get town-read for it?

Hey marquis, why didn't you ever follow up on this? I thought it was an interesting point.

The hope is that if someone is sufficiently scummy, and their partner is town, that the partner will have a better read than the general group and will act unilaterally.

In some sense, we're hunting for scum in the hopes that doing so causes interactions that help town-partners correctly identify scum-partners.

And then how does kagami and gaiden fit into everything? I think gaiden is town but Kagami moving around and sheeping when asked or the stance on me are just giving me the heebie jeebies. There's trying to start an offwagon early and now jumping on a full steam wagon in a vote that just flat out is sheeping. I don't understand it.

Sheeping is how lynches happen, especially in evens and especially when the wagon is on scum.

Deadline isn't our friend in this setup. No one is going to be forced to "compromise."

If people want to lynch the people I want to lynch, that would be lovely, but I wouldn't mind seeing spectres of doubt be eliminated. Who-aerthem is such a spectre.

I've been shying away from the greedy approach, but the short answer is that I think there is scum in either who-aeth or andrius-venmar and not both. I also think both of those pairs have a pretty decent chance of turning out to be double-scum, though that chance is greater for andy-venmar.
